Nope, just speculation.

No offense, but this doesn't actually confirm anything, and most of this information is pretty old. The Ermac concept was a fan-art. It was made by a professional artist in his spare time, but as far as we know, that's all it is.

The "smoke" picture is up for debate still, but I think it's just a blurry, distorted washed-out picture of Sub-Zero. If you look at it long enough though, you can make it look like anything you want.

As for Motaro, that's just pure speculation. He MIGHT be in it, but he probably won't. I'd say every other character in the franchise, except the ones that the developers flat-out denied, have a higher chance than Motaro.

If only, though.

That might be some of the shoddiest journalism I've seen on the internet in a long time.

1. That Ermac is an artist's spare time pic.

2. Max was speculating and that obviously confirms nothing.

3. Kotal is clearly striking a generic character because it's just the circle showing off one his variations.

4. IGN was just polling the twitterverse on guest characters people would like to see. That is NOT "information" on anything related to guest characters.

5. I don't know what BREATH cast is, but Ed told us at E3 that the game would coming to all four consoles and that another developer would handle the last gen ports while NRS handled current gen development. Unless they broke the story before E3, which I kinda doubt, even if it was a fairly obvious assumption.

No offense to the OP by any means whatsoever. I always appreciate when people try to find news wherever they can, but that author uses a very misleading headline to provide what's, at best, pure speculation. Kinda shameful, actually.

Smoke = I like smoke, but I want all other ninja's in over him, he's the least of the ninja's for me personally. I want Rain, Reptile and Ermac all in, but non-ninja of course. Smoke would be cool as Enenra, not as grey ninja.


Motaro = LOL, yes lets keep Goro and Kintaro alive and kill off Motaro, only to have Motaro back in X over Kintaro and Goro and as sub-boss.

I really hope that is false, as I want Motaro dead forever, give the sub-boss role to a cool new aztec monster based on bat, snake or jaguar, not the usual kind.

No matter how many times I see that so-called picture of "Smoke" it looks nothing like him, and since Weapontheory said it looks like Sub-Zero (even if it is), that makes more sense than Smoke being there.

And Motaro has been confirmed already that he will not be showing up in this game.

So yeah... even though this has been stated plenty of times in this thread, one more time wouldn't hurt.
