Ermac, mentoring role?

Well raiden is out of wack, and fujin just doesnt seem like a stick-er around-er....so i tihnk ermac would be a perfect sort of, out of place protector. Hear me out...

Hes probably the most knowledgable of ALL the kombatants, so hes more wise and i think with like....so "ermac to himself time" he could maybe become almost as knowledgable as the elder gods.

Hes trying to redeem himself, so what better way than to be the new protector of a earth? Eaarth really seems like its in need of a normal protector, and i tihnk ermac would be the perfect candidate for that role.

Also....if for some reason, they decide to get back to the mk roots....i would like the idea that one of the many souls that comprises ermac would be the great kung lao.

anyone else agree or disagree?

Agreed.

I think Ermac suits the role of being a guardian/protector perfectly. I always thought he should be the next Liu Kang/Raiden simply because of his wiseness and mentality. IMO he should try to bring down chaotic forces for the future.....like Baraka and the shokans, not to mention the certain death of Onaga and Shao Kahn. Ermac being the next generation Hero is something I've always felt should happen, ever since the beginning of MKD.

I can see Ermac developing into one of the main heroes of the next generation...sort of like how Sub-Zero did.

I'm not sure about him being in a mentor role though.
What I think should happen is in the next gen games, Ermac sets himself up as Outworld's defender, fighting to make sure the realm is never threatened or becomes a threat again.

I'm a little upset that Ermac is taking the role of a good guy. Plus I'm mad that he has the same moves as Kenshi. Hopefully they will get rid of Kenshi in the next game so Ermac will stay. I wasn't a fan of Ermac until I fought him the the Warrior Shrine in MKSM. He was so badass in that game compared to MKD and MKA.

I like the idea, its just it would be COMPLETELY out of place with the current storyline. Just give him that and i highly agree.

yeah, i kinda agree with what dun said...maybe since liu and ermac teamed up, liu would be the protector of earth, ermac would be the protector of outworld, and they kinda balence each other out.

well first of all, ermac will give liu Kang a run for his money if they were to fight it all out.
but anyways back to the point, i agree with PQ about how ermac should be protector.he got little cred and in MKD he barly got any reconigition in the storyline.Earth would be ina better place if ermac and kung lao were to work together

Ermac would be better as an Outworld Protector than Earth, he seems more out-ish. I think they should make a storyline about exactly what souls he was create out of.
