Ed confirmed my worst nightmare: the Kombat Pack is all DLC we are getting. The game will not be supported after the summer.

So... no additional stages, no Fujin, they're moving to their next project.

Well, I don't care about Injustice. Screw you, WB! The arena count will not be forgotten, NRS. And the Fujin part in Cassie's second fatality is such a bad joke.

I'll enjoy MKX, but I'm done with this franchise. I'm too old for this shit.

I'll take a MK11 that's a little bit more fantastical/kung-fuish or another DC fighting game that's just straight up Justice League vs Legion of Doom if they're jumping onto the next project immediately.

They didn't, he's assuming. The interviewer asked about DLC and Ed mentioned the 4. They've stated before they won't talk about future DLC until the Kombat Pack is out, don't know why this is so shocking to people.

Anyway im assuming he just said no more DLC, and not that the game wont be supported, I believe NRS will still support the game in terms of patches/balance updates for a while though.

I am personally not mad about it though, I am pretty content with what has been showed so im good.

I cant believe they are already beginning their next project, I commend their work ethic but take a small break :)

Yep, everyone can calm down. The game is out tonight, Ed was trying to get people to buy the Kombat Pack. He's not going to dissuade people by saying there will be even more DLC down the line that'll cost even more money. That's just bad marketing.

I'm not assuming anything. He specifically said that the game will be supported only until the summer. And he said it in the context of the last Kombat Pack dlc that arrives in June.

Fine, I just re-watched the stream. These are his words, and I quote, "The DLC characters are a character called Tremor, which is a Mortal Kombat character. He's a very rare one. Another one called Tanya, and then Predator and Jason so we have 4 of them. Those are all gonna be comin', you know, starting in a few weeks and then spaced out about three to four weeks apart. We're gonna be supporting it all through the summer."

No where in there did he say anything about the doom and gloom you flipped your lid about. You overreacted. He didn't deconfirm more DLC, he didn't confirm they're moving on, all he confirmed was the DLC will be spaced out through the summer. That's it.

everyone knows that future dlc is based on popularity and sales.

im sure we will get fan demands like we did for injustice. even if it is only a couple.

If everyone buys the kombat pack we get more DLC. It's that simple.

They start working on their next game while the other is still in development. I'm pretty sure WB dictates when the cutoff for post launch content is.

Wait... Ed did spoile something on that video did he? O.o I had some theories about what he said and thankfully I didn't hear him clearly but enough to know he was confirming part of what I though.

If you watch the video, mute it in the part where Conan asks something about an arena and they say the word "spoilers".

I've said this before and I'll say it again, now. The game looks freaking incredible.
