Sub-Zero has never been a bad guy, at least not this one. He should stay good. If he became bad it would be everything up to this point would be meaningless which doesn't fit his code of honor. The difference is, Sub-Zero has a code of honor, where Noob never did.

I'm just thinking...what if older Sub-Zero never killed Scorpion? You had a choice to spare him in Mythologies, and I let him live...maybe Quan Chi Killed Scorpion and framed Sub-Zero, just like he did with Scorpions's family and clan. Sub-Zero killing Scorpion might not be completely true.


After Sub-Zero spares Scorpion and leaves the temple, Quan Chi shape- shifts into Sub-Zero and kills Scorpion.

No, Sub-Zero should not now or ever turn into a bad guy. The original Sub-Zero was'nt even evil he just had an evil taint on his soul so that when Scorpion killed him the evil taint was unleashed and he was turned into Noob Saibot

Tobias Boon...stupid name...Honestly I think killing off the original Sub-Zero and then brining him back was a stupid storyline move. Well they could have at least called him somthing else and lock him and scorpion in eternal battle or something...

Actually, I think it was a great move to make Noob Saibot the older Sub-Zero as it fleshes out his story greatly and explains his origins. Also, it sets up for story potential.

Locking older Sub-Zero and Scorpion in eternal battle would make their stories become very stagnant very quickly.

Anywho, no way man. If you are referring to the MK2 Sub-Zero and so on about being a bad guy before, then you are mistaken for it was the first MK Sub-Zero that was NEUTRAL and was killed in the Shaolin Tournament. Sub-Zero was never really evil. Why should the current Sub-Zero turn evil? Besides, its awesome to have a Sub-Zero good, and like I said, there is already an evil one.
