I jumped ship to each one and maxed them out in the beginning for the achievement, I've stuck with the Brotherhood ever since.

I don't really pay attention to the factions anymore. It was a good idea at first, but it just didn't hold my interest. It was a lot like the Invasions IMO -- hyped to hell and just didn't deliver.

I think itd be cool if u could switch and keep everything unlocked if u choose to switch back. I totally forgot about the faction war kombat Kards. I had just unlocked the dragon king set and dont really feel like switch again especially since the only ones winning right now are my least favorite factions.

I'm just looking for those kombat kard unlocks that boost my XP. After that, I'll stick with Lin Kuei or White Lotus. Haven't decided yet. Probably White Lotus because I like the faction kills more.

Was part of brotherhood for a week then sold the game.

It is extremely pathetic that you continue to come to this site every so often, replying to every thread to remind everyone that you sold the game a week after you got it. Desperate cries for attention from strangers on the internet is a very bad sign.


As for the topic at hand - I don't change factions. I worked my way through all of them to 50, and White Lotus is the last faction I leveled, so I kept it. The menu screens for it are pretty cool, as are the faction kills. I'd go back to Lin Kuei but...meh. Factions are pointless.

I got a double flawless on a guy one time and now I have a fancy pants background and icon that gets me 400 coins every time I win so I've been stuck in the black dragon because I'm cheap and greedy. I wanna unlock everything in the krypt. Otherwise I'd be switching all the time. I like the idea of picking a new main and then picking the faction that most fits them and then learn that character's ins and outs until i hit level 50. I wish the faction mode was...I dunno...cooler? Maybe more involved? I like the concept, but the execution is meh. Not sure what they could do to make it better. Also wish there was an outworld faction, really lame that there isn't one.

Honestly, I just switch factions whenever I want to change the background. Reason why I'm Black Dragon, simply cuz I just like background menu. I mean, thats it really. I had maxed out White Lotus, then maxed out Black Dragon, then again, then again. I wouldn't mind if instead of factions they just include an option to change menu designs in the next game.

I maxed out each faction, got the Dragon King stuff. Now I swap factions each week the day before to get all the War Champion stuff.

Once I got all that stuff (6 more weeks for me!) I'll return "home" back to the Lin Kuei.

I have really thought about doing this lately I only have Up to week 4 and I worked out if you get all of them the border and icon give you 1500 xp per win plus a good back ground giving you 200 per win makes for 1700xp per win which is incredible!

But I have been with brotherhood of shadow for so long now after a maxing all the others I am one more night away from cracking the top 100. Not that that means much and 1700xp per win is a great booster! I don't know if I have another 10 weeks left in this game though to get them all

When the game first came out I switched to each one for the "Be a member of each faction" trophy, then id get to 50 in one, then switch and did that until I lvl 50'd all of them (for the trophy) then I went back to Brotherhood and that's where ill remain from now on lol

I joined the White Lotus in the beginning, maxed that out and moved on to max put the others, then came back home to the White Lotus and stayed there.

But let's face it, factions don't mean shit.

I'm with special forces now. I stuck with them after join all 5 for the trophy. I didn't want to upgrade again lol

I'd intended to stay with SF but after maxing out all of the factions I stuck with White Lotus since I did them last and the Sky Temple is the best background.

They should`ve added special Faction Kills against players who switched from factions.
Traitor kills or something seemed obvious, especially with canon history.

Nobody leaves the Lin Kuei...

I've jumped ship but will re-join S.F once I hit level 50 with every Faction and have LeoBrz as my 2nd in command..... ????

I maxed them out for the achievement, then returned to White Lotus - my original faction - which I remain in as a tribute to Fujin. :(
