They've never said I don't think, but in all honesty I have no idea. Maybe they just don't wanna spend the extra development time to give them alts so they could get the characters out quicker, that's my best guess. Really wish they had alts as well.

Boon said DLC characters this go-round would have alts -- I assume he means Tanya and Tremor. Jason and Predator will probably just have the one iconic look.

That makes me a little happier. Fingers crossed that they do!

Zod did end up with an alt costume near the end of Injustice's life cicle, so anything is possible.

I would guess getting the characters out is top priority. Alts are bonuses they could work on after.

I would love to see Mksf Tremor with the rock body and arms in his og outfit. Would be awesome!

Tremor and Tanya will probably get alts since they are standard MK characters (well, Tanya is anyway), though even Cyber Sub-Zero, who was a hidden character and not DLC, had no alt up until they released the classic Cyborg skins. But, this is a different time now - we already have more skins in this game than we did in MK9.

Predator and Jason...likely not. Anything they do with those characters would have to be within the constraints of the licensing agreement. To create an additional skin would mean having to spend more money to license additional looks...something they probably wouldn't do. It depends on the contract. If they're free to design custom, additional looks or if they got licensing to use more than one look for the characters will ultimately dictate whether or not guest characters will have different looks. For Jason, there's really nothing they could offer except Burlap Sack Head or Jason X (which i'm shocked isn't already in..I mean, MKX, Jason X...?) For Predator...it looks like we've seen at least two different masks (Jungle Hunter and City Hunter), I would hope for a Wolf alternate look...while I hated the AvP movies, gotta admit that Wolf was the most bad ass Predator on screen ever, with the best design. The first AvP and Predators...not so much.

I hope we get "DLC ALT COSTUME PACK" which will have alternatives for the dlc chars including Goro!

At the very least they could throw together a compilation outfit that takes influences from some of the unused concepts.

A lot of untapped potential there.

It would be silly if Jason and Predator didn't get an alternate. There are so many iterations of the characters that fans would love to see.

When does the next dlc character release

I imagine they'd have to license those iterations separately. That adds up. $$$

I won't say anything until Tanya and Tremor are realeased. Two actual MK characters. I can understand guest chaacters not getting alternate costumes and such but if Tremor and Tanya get the same treatment as Jason that's when we have a problem.

I completely agree. But what worries me the most is why didnt Kenshi, Rain, and Skarlet get an alternate in their original release in MK9 and why didn't Goro get an alternate in MKX?

Tanya and Tremor have slots for an alternate costume already present in the code. The others do not.
