DLC characters missing from select screen

So I've been seeing the DLC characters on the select screen. Jason is fully shown while the rest are dark shadows. But I just restarted my PS4 and they're not shown on the select screen anymore.

Anyone else had this issue? It says I still purchased them and everything, it's just weird how their no longer present on the screen. Jason's bio is still viewable in the collection as well.

Man I have downloaded all the patches/updates and redeemed my Kombat Pack code and haven't seen any of them on the select screen once, I had the Jason load screen come up one time though.

It's definitely not just you.

I had mentioned it a couple times in other threads. I'm completely up to date on all patches, and have the UMK3 Subby skin, as well as Jason still being in the character viewer.

But it just seems like the DLC choose to show up whenever they want to. Twice it's been for Living Towers selection, and once for Traditional Towers.

And it only happens once a day.

I saw Jason's loading render today when playing at my brother's :D definitely, the seeds are being sewn.

Where do the other characters appear on the select screen?

Predator underneath Jason, Tanya next to Kung Jin on the other side and Tremor underneath Tanya.

Checked again, their still gone.

Odd indeed. This better not happen once their all released haha, then we'll have a problem.

Last week I had all of the characters on the select screen with Jason being the only one not blacked out.

While playing online Jason and Tanya are the only ones visible for me.

I do wonder how are they going to add more dlc characters after this. I'm guessing they'll make the mugshots even smaller.

As far as the select screen, I've never had them show up yet. Weird.

I think depending on how you navigate the menus the wrong select screen will be loaded up.

I had never seen them throught normal play, but after putting my PS4 in rest mode in Fatality Practice Mode and turning it back on, I went to the select screen and there was Jason, complete with walk animation(Tanya was blacked out and I couldn't go on her icon).

So from what I gather some people have seen all four(Jason fully illuminated but Tanya, Tremor, and Pred in shadow), most have seen Jason fully illuminated but Tanya in shadow and no Tremor/Pred, and one hasn't seen ANY as of yet.

I've seen none, I have the game on PC and I see nothing on screen, it looks the same as the day I got the game.

I'm sure when Jason is officially released he'll appear on the select screen for everyone.

Jason was the only one on mine that wasn't a black silhouette. Not sure if he had a walking animation as I was selecting for a Tower, but I assume so.

I was also able to hover over Tanya, Tremor, and Predator, but they all just said "Coming Soon".

I reiterate - What is this madness?

they updated the character select screen. mugshots are even smaller than before,just enough to add 2 characters to the far left and and 2 other characters far right side of the DLC character slots.
Seems like a not so subtle hint towards the next pack being comprised of 4 dlc characters.
one thing though,I seriously hope they don't add any more guests.

Still a no show for me, I had one instance where I saw the Jason load screen and that's it, I also believe I saw his bio in the kollection thing, but I cant remember.

could be worse,it could be 2 more guests. sigh.
really hoping we get a cyber ninja,though. Cyrax wouldn't be a bad pick. seriously,you can't tell me they are literally replacing cyber ninjas with the Predator,and mind you,as cool as he is and all that,this is an MK game,not a Predator game.

Saw the Jason character render screen last night (ugh). They're just teasing you with the blacked out boxes. Remember in MK3 when Smoke's portrait would randomly rotate into the middle "?" slot on the select screen? That's basically what they're doing here. Enjoy it, it's a fun throwback.

don't forget it also happened with Kahn and Motaro in the SNES version of MK3. I always found it strange that was the only version to do so,the MS-DOS and Genesis versions had 2 separate slots for Kahn and Motaro in the character select screen.
