Definitive :

Hotshot Cage: win 10 consecutive koth survival matches.

Revenant Kung Lao: win 30 normal koth matches (non consecutive also)

Revenant Kitana : give 250 respect points in koth matches (both standard and survival)

Revenant Jax: win 10 matches, 2 players test your luck with flawless victory.

Revenant Sub-zero: complete test your might ladder

Dark Emperor Liu Kang: complete 10 consecutive challenge towers. (Do not exit the menù once you've finished a ladder)

Dark Empress Kitana: reach level 35 with the Brotherhood of shadow faction ( according to Someone it unlocks with other factions too, but I can't confirm because I am BOS since the beginning)

All the Tournament skins are unlocked by either completing arcade mode or buying them in the krypt.


Kintaro skin, revenant liu kang unloked with level 10 in special moves and so on are bullsheets.

I've had Empress Kitana for a long time and am only on 40 something in Brotherhood, so maybe it's any faction. BOS is my 3rd.

Rev Zero - I failed to complete the tower, went back in a few days later, did the 1st one, pine boards, and it unlocked.

I got Dark Empress Kitana just by beating the Test Your Might tower.

Rev Kitana seems to be able to be gotten in multiple ways. When I was watching the ESL tournament (Which is pretty much just people playing 1v1 online) somebody unlocked it after a few matches.

The only one I don't have is Revenant Liu Kang

Supposedly there is 2 ways of unlocking him

Win like 30 Ranked matches
Or
Max out level 10 of the special moves (in offline content section)

I haven't done either of the above as I don't play online a lot, & I'm about 500 special moves away from maxing level 10 of special moves

Revenant Liu Kang was 26 ranked match wins for me. I also want to point out that the exact number of wins you need for a couple of skins seems to vary from player to player. For example, It was 24 wins for Revenant Kung Lao for me, not 30.

Btw with revenant Jax you can use 2 controllers, set the game to one round wins, and use the danger modifier in kustom kombat. This takes about 15 rounds, but goes by very quickly.

Don't forget Revenant Liu Kang - win 25 ranked matches (non consecutive).

I doubt I will ever get Hotshot Johnny. Rev Kung Lao is going to take a long time to get.

And to confirm - its 35 in any faction for Empress Kitana. Black Dragon was my first faction and I got her at random one day, just playing the game. I found out that i was level 35 at the time in my faction.

im trying the maxing to level 10 of special moves for revenant liu kang as well, but im still on level 9. i'd love to know if this actually works when you get to level 10 cause I heard it might not work........if you have any luck with that method can you post in here?

Level 10 Special for Rev Liu Kang doesn't work. That was reported back when we didn't know how. Someone unlocked him in the match he reached Level 10 for special but it had nothing to do with it. Ranked matches or nothing.

If you are on PS4 I don't mind helping you get Hotshot Cage one day, it only takes about 20 minutes.

I have all skins but Revanent Liu Kang but I've got 32 ranked 1 v 1 wins. I'll be able to confirm later tonight if it's 35 wins

I'm level 13 for Special Moves

That's not surprising, and I may have found why - ever have someone Quitality on you?

I had 4 Quitalities happen to me, and it ended up taking 29 wins to get Rev Liu. So, Quitalities or victories due to service interruption don't seem to count.

I agree - 40 wins in KOTH, which NO ONE does other than survival...it's slim pickens. It takes me on average 5 - 10 minutes to find a match, and I dont have the patience to sit in a menu for 10 minutes waiting, only to have to potentially wait 10 minutes in the KOTH lobby for battles to finish.

You guys can set up a public room and just take turns beating each other in KOTH for revenant Lao. Just give it a weird name so noone else will enter. Same thing can be done for hs Johnny.

(Private rooms won't work for Lao)

Did it with Blade for Hotshot Johnny. Created a room with a short name starting with S (not everyone will take the time to scroll at the bottom). He joined, I challenged him to Survivor, kicked his ass for 10-15 minutes max and boom, sexy Hot Shot Johnny..

Its pure luck really, I'm completely average at the game and I managed to get 10 consecutive survival KOTH wins simply because the people they filled up the room didnt have a clue how to play the game.
