Daily Towers and troublesome kombo achievement

I've spent a lot of time with the game, but the answers to these questions elude me:

What is the point of the daily living tower? I've never been rewarded for doing it. The hourly towers unlock fight modifiers and the premier towers unlock special kombat kard pieces, but daily towers unlock nothing? Really?

There's also an achievement for doing a 10-hit kombo with every character. Plenty of them are effortless thanks to ridiculous x-rays or special moves, but there are some characters where I have no clue what to do other than hoping for juggle kombat modifiers in the towers.

Does anyone know some easy and reliable 10-hit kombos for:
Erron Black
Jax
Kano
Kung Jin
Reptile
Sonya Blade
Sub-Zero

Again, kombos that can be done in any fight and do not depend on modifiers would be preferred.

With Erron, you can get one by starting with his 3-hit pop-up combo (which I think is B+3 2 U+1), then following with his tackle special (D B F 2). The only tricky part is the timing, as I think it only works if the tackle catches them just as they hit the ground.

With Kung Jin, use Bojutsu, and in the corner do: 1 1 B F 4, then 1 1 X-Ray.

Sonya: Do her X-Ray near the corner, then 2 1 3.

Kano: In corner, neutral jump punch, 1 1, 1 1 X-Ray.

Jax: In corner, neutral jump punch, 1 1, 1 1 X-Ray. (same button presses as Kano's; different timing)

Reptile: In corner, 2 1 2 4, 2 1 X-Ray.

Sub-Zero: Use Cryomancer. F+1 2 2, F+4 2 1+3. (You can substitute the throw button for the final 1+3.)

If you put the name if the trophy in YouTube there is a video that shows how to get a 10 hit combo with every character. That's how I got the Trophy
