I would love cutscenes before and after fights especially in story mode. With the unreal engine, it would a shame not to have them.

The story is what attracted me to Mortal Kombat so having cut scenes that actually give personality to each character would be a definate plus in my book. Armageddon had no personality to any but only a select few which was like Taven and Daegon. Also, if there was a story mode you would see why each character fights each other, rather than just having two random fighters that have visual appeal beat the shit out of each other with no idea how they got there in the first place.

ya i liked how in tekken there was short cutscenes before and after the fight and each character had a specific list of fights set up that made sense for them to fight you know? like say in tekken marshel law faught paul, then other people who were involved in his storyline stuff like that you know atleast this way in arcade mode we see more indepth into that specific characters story leading up to the final battle
