well we would have to wait and see what next gen fighters come out and maybe SF goes 3D next gen and runs on a very similar engine as MK would.....maybe then there could be a versus game. I'm sure it would suck as MK is going to wipe the slate clean come next gen. you could have Ryu vs Liu Kang, Or Guile vs Jax, or Cammy vs Sonya.

I surprised there hasn't been more MK V Tekken/ Soul Calibur/ Virtua Fighter suggestions given the whole topic on whether MK games should return to 2D or stay 3D.
