Jax wife is mentioned by name in Story. It`s Vera.

Could it be short for Aloe Vera? A Plant based name theme, some ninja`s usually get nammed after their thing, i.e. Reptile, Rain, Smoke, Sub-Zero, Jade, Skarlett, Frost.

Aloe Vera, a Lin Kuei Medic, she specializes is Botanical, and Herbal plant knowledge. In the aftermath of war, she fell in love with Earthrealm Hero, Jackson Briggs.She is also the Mother of Jaqui. Her love, and vast knowledge can heal Jax` body & heart, but she can only do so much to ease his mind...

This should have been a big plot point for MKX. Shinnok captures Jacqui and Jax, so Vera has to whip out the old ninja outfit and save the day. NRS really messed up by not doing this.
