Considering we have gotten a preview every week now I'm kind of used to looking at it and judging what might happen. The preview itself is enjoyable

If we didn't 100% know Mileena was going to be in before, we damn sure do now. That outfit looks nothing like anything she's worn in the past, and is clearly a newly designed MKX look.

Also if we didn't know Reiko WASN'T going to be in before... it sure looks pretty certain now. Looks like that boy got dumped for a bigger better boyfriend...

Reiko doesn't get dumped at least not this far in. This is a flashback comic. The beginning of Kotal's rise to power. It looks like he has a beef with Goro who may have ascended to the top after Shao Kahn died. Mileena of course is queen. Man I bet if those two had a baby it would be wild. A Four Armed Tarkatan. If that ends up being a Sub-boss I'd be impressed. I know it's not a new character speaking of making a new race to fight but it would be a killer look. Half bear half manpig lol. Goro will die though. And Kotal will take the throne. Reiko will take Mileena as his gf/wife later on.

I think because they're going back in time, that's why they switched it up to make it look more retro?
