Liked how they showed Kotal Kahn met Reptile for the first time and recruit him. Also The Black Dragon(Kano, Tremor, Jarek and Tasia) appearing at the end was great.

It was a good issue until I realized Erron Black wouldn't get a background story like the rest of Team Kotal.

So summary of issue:

(Theme song of Kotal Rangers play: Go Go Kotal Rangers!)

Kotal: I'm going to kill myself

(Song stops abruptly)

I'm really enjoying Reptile's personality shining in the comic as a truly loyal ally to Kotal with a personality more than silent henchman for Shao Kahn/Shang Tsung only serving because he has to and wanting his race back.

It's great, Really enjoyed his flashback the most.

As for the Lady Bug: At what point did things change for D'vorah or did they ever change at all? In Story Mode does she still respect him or will things change in the future of the comic? Very interested.

Finally some focus on Ferra/Torr, too. And I like how bubbly she comes across in her interactions with Kotal compared to Reptile and D'vorah.

Tasia looks pretty good, She matches with Jarek and has a nice hairstyle/look. Wouldn't be surprised if she or Jarek bites it in the next couple issues though. Wouldn't be mad either.

I don't hate Tremor. But I do hate his dorky looking grandpa pants.

Oh and I was really happy to see Kintaro, Sheeva, And Skarlet make their debut for the comic.

Kotal Kahn is so badass.I dont miss shao kahn a bit XD

Indeed. He has been a worthy sucessor.
Not so ``Koat-tails Kahn`` as early fears were easily vanquished.

Tasia looks awesome and Tremor is wearing a BIONICLE mask.

I really think that No Face will show up at some point.
