Tanya: killed by Jades org of arkatan essence.

Sub-Zero: unless they actually do something with him, I say let Hotaru kill him. He gets build up but to what end?

Liu Kang: dead. Let it remain that way.

Kitana: a character seriously needing active roles. Unless they change her aproach, let her rot.

Kobra: would be logical, since he and hsu hao are support (but quite superb supporters compared to the likes of Reiko and co.) characters.

Uh the good guys die a lot...

Johnny Cage: Killed by Kintaro in MK2, then later changed so that he was killed by extermination squads and then changed so that he wasn't killed at all.

Liu Kang: Deadly Alliance.
Kung Lao, Kitana, Jax, Johnny Cage, Sonya: Deception.

So unless you're saying coming back, the good guys die quite a bit.

Most of the characters I'd like to get rid of are just really fillers, who add little or nothing to the series. I'm tempted to add Shujinko and Bo Rai Cho. But I am willing to give Shujinko another shot if he gets his own moves, and not as the main hero. I would also be willing to give Bo Rai Cho a chance, if they lose the unfunny puking and farting.

Kobra- Has "dead meat" written all over him, he's just a killable filler like Jarek or Hsu Hao, but much lamer. Worst character ever.

Jax- I think it's his time to go. Should be killed off, since he serves the same purpose as Sonya, and killing him could add more to her storyline.

Tanya- Adds nothing to the series, should have stayed a one game filler. Let Jade have her.

Nightwolf- Another filler who should either die or disappear, as he adds nothing to MK.

Dairou- Same as Nightwolf, but he's also ruined by MK's dumbest special moves.

Cyrax- Never liked him, Sektor's the better cyborg, and Cyrax is now just another Special Forces hanger on.

Liu Kang- He came back too early, and it's time for characters like Sub Zero and Kung Lao to move into hero roles.

Cyrax - I'd have Cyrax die in a future Mortal Kombat to add a dramatic and sad plot to Mortal Kombat. Cyrax would be turning human and starts feeling emotions. Cyrax would fight in an ultimate battle against Sektor. Cyrax would fight well and even damage Sektor to a degree, but I think that Cyrax should be wounded so badly in battle he would feel pain for the first time. And for the irony of the situation, I would like to see Cyrax shed a tear for the lost oppurtunity of a life he could have lived, before it gets crushed out of him by Sektor.

Noob Saibot - I'd like to have Noob Saibot enter a battle that has fighters on three ends. Noob Saibot, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion. All three of them would attack each other in this fight. Sub-Zero still believes there is a chance to save his brother, but Scorpion does not believe that so. Sub-Zero would be knocked unconcious by Noob Saibot while exchanging words and be brought to where Noob Saibot is located. Before Sub-Zero succumbs to the will of Noob Saibot, Scorpion would rush into the scene with his own vendetta against Noob Saibot. Sub-Zero would be gaining his strength while an ultimate battle between Scorpion and Noob Saibot is engaged and Noob Saibot would be struck down for a finishing blow. Before Noob Saibot is finished off, Sub-Zero would attack Scorpion and both Sub-Zero and Scorpion would do battle. After an epic battle between those two Sub-Zero would emerge on top and he would confront his brother one last time. Noob Saibot would beat Sub-Zero and while down Sub-Zero would remind his brother of his past, and what they had went through together as brothers. Noob Saibot would begin to remember and he would become a mere shell of his former self. Noob Saibot would relize that he could never be who he was before and he decides that Sub-Zero is no longer his brother and that he is a threat. Sub-Zero would relize all of his efforts would be in vain and he would die, but Scorpion attacks Noob Saibot yet again. And this time Sub-Zero sides with Scorpion. Together, both Sub-Zero and Scorpion defeat and kill Noob Saibot and both of them would finally make peace with each other before Scorpion returns to the heavens.

If I were in charge, I'd have a major cull of a lots of character.

I don't see the point in killing off characters that could be used better in the storyline.

Cyrax-everybody thought Cyrax was pointless until MKDA, where he ended up as the very person to ressurect the dragon king. Cyrax has the potential to be used against Sektor as soon as he makes the transformation back to a human.

Jax-he could make a return, but his mind left poisoned after being hypnotized by the one being. he, like Rayden, are slowly driven mad until he snaps and ends up dead at the hands of Johnny or Sonya, adding much emotion to her story (and getting Jax out of the way for Johnny). don't kill him off just yet.

Lui Kang- well, there wouldn't be much sense to bringing him back and whacking him again without an explanation. he needs to find his body and he one responsible for ressurecting him. IMO, he should come back as two characters: zomby Lui and ghost Lui, beings that Rayden has better things to do than fry him with lightning and solder him back together.

Kobra- I'd rather have him than Kira. Kobra could have been done better and should get a second chance, while Kira is just a stereotypical slut with no moves of her own (tell me they didn't steal ideas from bloodrayne). also, bringing him back would give people a surprise, because they were expecting Kira to win. of course, who's to say that she killed him when she won the fight? the black dragons do have a bad habbit of leaving people for dead.

Kano- the bald one? die? HAH! between the part where he fought Goro, escaped custody of Shao Kahn AND the special forces (numerous times), survived a fall from a 20 story building, taught tarkatans to use firearms (a feat rendering any normal human into swiss cheese), getting a front row seat to the Shang/Quan vs Shao Kahn fight, surviving a fight with Li Mei, and whatever the FUCK he did to his eye, I'd say he can survive a weapon stealing bondage freak (the same weapon stealing bondage freak that lost to gothic Elvis with a gas mask. aka Kabal)

Bo' Rai Cho- if you guys want him gone that bad, he got injured in battle and is sitting out the next game. there. happy?

Characters I want killed off:

Liu Kang - He's had his time, now its time for Kung Lao to stand up.

Jax - I guess he's getting stale.

Sonya - See above.

Mileena - Ruined by transforming into a cheap porn star.

Kira - A rip off in moves. And yeah I reckon she's a rip off Blood Rayne as well.

Kobra - Only made to annoy SF fans, has no chance of survival.

Mavado - Let him stay dead.

Dairou - Cheese xtreme and doesn't have much of a storyline.

Darrius - Same as Dairou in storyline. Should be a one-game filler.

Reptile - I don't like his lizard form. Make him a ninja again.

Sindel - Poor return in MK: D. (Unless she gets fixed up for MK7)

Nightwolf - See SIndel. I also find him cheesy xtreme in special moves.

Any character in MK, with the exceptions of K/Chameleon, have latent potential, no matter how much work it may take to resuscitate them.

None I'd like to kill off as a personal opinion, except Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Liu Kang. Move the spotlight to someone else.

Lui Kang: He's been dead and been ressurected how many times? SHIT it's like the whole Dragon Ball Z /Goku thing..give the spotlight to a diffrent character or something shit

Shao Kahn: I say we let the Dragon King run with it for awhile...They could do atleast one or two more games off of a damn dragon!

Shang Tsung: I think it's time for him to go...He's been around so long it's almost pointless to still have him there...He's so damn haggard now.

Goro: ...four arms...Mentality of a damn three year old when fighting...to big...

Kitana: It's her time too...shes just worn out.

Let me play MK:Deception and i bet ill have more...

Oh and the reptile form of reptile sucks...bring back the green ninja!

Scorpion (yes I know he's dead, I mean erased from existence or something) on the basis that he has all the personality of a thumb tack and really has nothing redeeming. Just because he gives Ed Boon (and fanboys) wood does not mean he's a good character.
