I don't think that they'll release all of the characters before release. It's always nice to leave a few surprises. However, I do believe that they'll release a majority, if not all of the new characters, just so we can get used to the idea of them being in.

Hopefully things will start picking up the pace, because I am DYING to know more about these other modes, story, and even stages moreso than the characters.

The characters I've already got a general idea of who's showing up and who's not, but the stages are really setting a tone for the game so far, and what we've got has been BEAUTIFUL! The reason I say that is 'cause I just went back to play MKA and I've noticed everything was just rehashed from the prior MK games and was sort of a drag, save for the konquest arenas that weren't even playable on arcade (MKA was BEYOND unfinished). MK9 was just a reboot, it hasn't been since MKD that we were introduced to any real NEW arenas that breathe unfamiliar life into MK.

Sorry, Off-Topic, just felt like mentioning, because people are up in arms about the characters, yet there's still a shit-ton of everything else yet to be revealed.

The pace will most likely start up around December. 2011's game had it where October and November being really slow months.

The way I see it is because these two months always have a lot of games that get released, and I doubt that Netherrealm Studios wants to drive the attention away from them to promote their game. Of course, that's just pure speculation and I'm not 100% agreeing that's the case. But these months do have a lot of games that comes out though.

There might be another reason, and I don't know what that reason is, but this is what I got out of it.

If you go off of NRS release plans for MK9 and Injustice they wanted to show all but 4 characters each time but do to the audio leaks the last 4 characters for MK9 NRS released a mash up video of them.

We will get another reveal this month and at least 2 per month until release unless theirs another leak

That's a nice fantasy but even if they tried to keep a few characters a secret, they'd be leaked before the game even hit shelves. If it was near impossible to keep thing quiet ten years ago it's entirely impossible now.

I said it before and Ill say it again. I believe the majority of the Reveal Trailers will be RETURNING CHARACTERS.
I think it makes sense because i feel the fans are more curious as to who will returning more so than newer characters. not saying they don't care about the newer one.

If it follows the same pattern as MK9: We'll probably get 1 reveal in November and then nothing until December. From December to release, we'll get 2-3+ reveals per month.

Boon mentioned on Twitter "taken with a grain of salt", that he may do an "un-reveal" of the non-returning characters. In my opinion, if he did it that way, we will know who obviously will be in. Just hoping he doesn't go through with it.

Although we got Quan Chi earlier this month, I have a gut feeling that we will be getting a Halloween treat. With that being said, it'll probably be Michael Myers.

Boon posted a video tweet adapting to Halloween in general. Someone tweeted saying "Micheal Myers confirmed!" and Boon replied with "Oops!".

They are not going to reveal all the characters. They don't have to so long as they give enough info about the game. Its going to be an awesome game and it will be out in no time so Im fine with just a little more.

Nice prediction, but, I don't think that is what will happen. They finally started with the boot hint picture earlier this month with Quan Chi. So I think they will reveal the other 5 boots (1 per month), in the months to come. Of course those will be revealed early in those months, so come December we will probably get two reveals from then on.
However, we may get another reveal this month, but, it'll most-likely be a DLC horror film character.

I'm wondering if the next five reveals are going to be from the five remaining footwear pics. Quan Chi was the first reveal from those pics, which was also the first of the six, if we're going left to right. I'm highly leaning towards the boot on the far right being Shinnok, but other than that I have no idea. So maybe the next reveal will be the military style boot next to the Quan Chi pic? If they do, I think it will be the pattern of NRS to reveal the characters from the footwear pic going left to right. We shall see soon enough.

That would be absolutely lovely. Exactly who I wanna see in the game. But I doubt it. I suppose they are gonna follow the boot order and since Ed said some of them are newbies, I guess that we are gonna start getting 2 character reveals (1 old 1 new) when things start to pick up.

Id like to see them go a dif approach like instead of revealing a kharacter every month,they should reveal a kharacter thats in the game n then one who is not a few wks later n maybe even a feature every other month to keep the info coming

No. If those 11 are the only returning ones, we will get at least 13 new characters which is WAY too much for one game. Plus the Cage family and Liu are probably going to take some of these spots so yeah. I definitely want more returning characters (preferably from the 3D era)
