Character damage in Mkx?

So from what i'm seeing is that the characters don't really take that much visible damage besides getting blood on them and getting sweaty. I really miss the brutal and gross damage that would be visible on a character after a fight in Mk9.

Thoughts?

Yeah they certainly toned it down a bit in this game, I don't mind though, I liked the damage in MK9 but it isn't a huge deal to me personally.

Same here. Characters tend to take visual damage depending on what hits them. Like I've seen characters have bullet holes from taking damage from Jacqui's full auto.

As well as characters having slashes and tears on their clothes and flesh from Cutthroat Kano and Ninjutsu Scorpion.

That's neat though about the bullet holes. I haven't had a chance to dive in with Jacqui or Erron yet so I'll have to check that out when I do.
