Make up your own costume, or tell what someone should wear in the next game.

I hope the next game has
Fujin-Original costume with some kind of new editions
Kung Lao-His costume is great. Don't make his original costume the monk suit thing. It's ugly.
Mileena-Best ever, just don't make her lose anymore clothing. Take her mask off for a game.
Jade-Keep the amazon look.
Rain-Make costume similar to Ermac in Deception.
Jarek-Same!!! Please.
Kitana-Her costumes keep getting better. Just don't try that alternate from Deadly Alliance. She's not Mileena.
Jerrod-Make him look like a king. DUH.
Baraka-Can't really change him....
Johnny Cage-Try different color pants
Shinnok-Looks like a clown. Needs a makeover.
Sub-Zero-Well.....I guess he can stay the same.
Jax-Take off that hideous hat! Lose the gun too. Bring back missles.
Raiden -Keep it.
Kabal-Whatever.....
Tanya-Keep yellow and black, but make it look something like a dress with a huge slit in it. DO NOT MAKE HER LOOK LIKE SCORPION. DO NOT FORM AN ALLIANCE WITH SCORPION.
Shang Tsung-Keep him young with the red. Bring back the morphing.
Shao Kahn-What change has he really undergone...?

Same here. All Rain needs is a mask and he will be perfect! Without his mask, he just wouldn't seem like himself.

if you're looking for possible new outfits, I have a few ideas:

Shang Tsung can remain in his MKDA style, I think thats the best he got in the series aside from MK2 (as young).



Kahn can be covered up with some opaque armor, perhaps in somekind of a more regal style, but still keeping his upper torso uncovered to a degree.



I worked on the fucked up Jade drawing I posted, now the scard actually covers her body and brests and does not make it look like it's nail thin and short. -hopefully it's visible (p.s. the hands are elongated with a handguard and some realy long bladed nails: those can be considered to be left out)

Y'know, most people don't look that deep into it, and just think Mileena's attires are an excuse to have another extremely scantily clad woman in the game, but the real reason she shows so much skin is probably insecurity about her face/trying to distract from it.

That's more or less the reason. Mileena has more reason than any other female in the game to dress in such a way.

I've always wanted to see Kitana in a full ninja get up, kind of like Taki in Soul Caibur. I'd also love to see her in a ninja/royal mixed outfit.

Jade should keep the amazon look and they could expand on it in some ways.

I'd like to see Tanya somewhat like that Ada Wong palette swap Kamionero posted. It's time she got a decent outfit.
