I believe you can only obtain them from the Krypt.

There are some you can get guaranteed from the krypt, but not many.

Otherwise, they're extremely rare rewards from gambling. The good news is that you can get an infinite supply as long as you have koins. The bad news is that you'll be lucky to average 1 or 2 skip fights for every 100,000 you gamble.

Yeah, it doesn't just let you skip fights for the heck of it, so you can continue the story. It uses up skip fight tokens, which can be used in the Tower mode too, btw. But they are limited, so I guess you wasted them all.
I wasted a couple in the story mode too, when I started playing the game and didn't realize that's what it was (since they don't actually show you that there are limited tokens when you're in story mode).

That's what happened to me, I beat story mode without skipping any fights. When I went back I just wanted to watch the cut scenes but apparently you're suppose to fight everytime. That hardly gives the chapter select option a purpose. Whelp I guess it's off to youtube for me still when I just want to see the story.

I just want to skip some, somtimes... since I finished Story mode two times... sometimes the fight make the experience longer.
