Honestly, I really don't see it happening immediately. Maybe after a few games, after he gets his ass kicked a few times...but as of now, I don't think Light Raiden will be back in the near future.

Hopefully regular Raiden will be brought back for MK7. They should have his bio saying Fujin brings him back to his sences(sp?) after he kills Shujinko.

I don't see what's so wrong with Dark Raiden. I personally think it was a great idea as he never had too much going on in his personal character. He was always this very goody, goody type character, but now, he's grittier and less tolerant. I think he looks bad ass and he certainly kicks ass in MKD.

I'm sure that Raiden will be in MK7 and I look forward to what John Vogel and others will do with his storyline.

Raiden was a pussy and now he's not. I don't see a problem with what they have now.

Raiden should still be Ruthless in MK7 BUT He should at least have a costum that had his normal white and light blue colors on it.

I prefer Rayden to be dark and sinister. I hope they give him a bunch of extra powers and make him a sub-boss in MK7. I agree with the others. For the last several games he's just been the protector of Earth and that's been his entire plot. I'd like to see a plot where the Elder Gods decide that mortals are too corrupted and tainted to defend themselves and they themselves will wipe the slate clean. You have the embodiment of the Elders in the form of a man, and you make Rayden the sub boss and Scorpion the sub boss (since he's their champion).

But no, I don't want to see light Rayden, his light colors, or anything like that for at least a game or two. I want to see where his newfound darkness takes him.

Funny, the original Raiden in japanese mythology ate the bellybuttons of chioldren and was accompanied by a demon called Raiju. Rai (means lighting) Den (means thunder).

I think that Dark raiden should stay, and it would greatly improve his overall boring plotline. Not to mention, the more darker he gets, the more exciting will be his comeback to the light.

I like Dark Raiden. I always prefered angry pissed off Raiden to the nice benevolent Raiden.
Have him stay dark for a while, then maybe he can turn light again.

Raiden has been protecting the earth for a very, very long time. I'm not surprised that he finally snapped.I mean Dark Raiden isn't evil really. He's just less tolerant of the petty and stupid shit that people do.He's still the protector of earthrealm. I say keep Dark Raiden. Even the gods need to vent every now and then.

i agree, i want the raiden who flicked off the elder gods, the raiden who did battle with two bad ass spell casters and lost, then went and teamed up with them to stop an even greater problem, the raiden who simply refuses to let the bad guys win, no matter how far he travels, how much it costs him or how long it takes him.

I love the storyline, I just want him to have his normal light blue and white colored costome back thats all.

If Raiden returns in his white suit then he will not be as "dark". I like him the way he has became since Deception and I hope he stays Dark Raiden for at least this next game and then he can become normal Raiden again. But when he does become normal again I do want to see him with his old hat again like one of the above posts says.

But what would be even better and more satistfying to fans and especially the ones posting here, is if Raiden returned dark and had his alternate costume as his MK1 outfit (old hat, white suit). That would be awesome imo.

I would prefer Raiden to stay dark for the next Mortal Kombat game untill his vendetta against all of the mortals are complete.

I wonder what the main focus of the next Mortal Kombat game will be. Raiden seems a likley character to be part of the main plot. I also wonder if he will be tied into the "One Being" that was mentioned in Deception.

Raiden's look should reflect his personality and as of now, it is dark. So I would prefer Raiden's dark appearence, but an alternate outfit of his light self would not hurt the fans at all.

I think in MK7 Raidens Primary Costume should be similar to his MKD costume, and his alternate similar to his UC2 costume.

I think something they can do cool is let Raiden's evilness go to his head and then let him try to take over the realms. That would be cool.

I don't care how he looks, its just his damn attitude I hate.
