^ You do not need that many smilies.
Anyway, if the MK Team were to actually give us a combo system that doesn't suck horribly (no more canned BS) and actually were to play test their game and look for infinites there wouldn't be a need for Breakers. Breakers are a band-aid feature, nothing more. Fix the underlying problems and you erase the need for them.

Yes, I love the breakers. It adds a lot to the game because you only have so much time to use it before the combo is finished. First, your opponent has to start the combo, then you decide whether the combo will do enough damage that using the breaker is important. This is important in the first round especially. If you're already near death anyway, maybe it'd be better to just forfeit the round, and save the breakers. If your opponent is also in the danger zone, then it's a great way to win back the momentum. You have to consider all of this, and then mechanically perform the move. Hopefully before the combo is already finished. I often forget to use them breakers too, as I suspect is the case with most of the casual gamers, but breakers make it possible for us norms to take on the elites.

I don't know why there are only 3 breakers. But if they return, they should be infinite, kind of like KI.

If they change the combo system ( Get rid of dial combos) they won't need them.
The only ways I think dial combos should be in is if they are short and weak, or work like a replacement for juggles. A stun that allows a full combo to connect, other wise it's blockable like strings.
If they work something like this, then you don't need the breaker.

I think Breakers need to go, but something much better should be instituted instead of breakers.
The reason I say that is that once you have had a taste of a breaker in a game, especially 2 games, you will feel something missing if the breakers are gone. Solution: Implement some new idea.

The rules of this site say that you can only use three emoticons per post.I don't want breakers to come back in the future MK games. But I agree with Outworld on how something should replace them. They arent needed. Breakers can stay but each character should have his specific combo breaker move like Killer Instinct 1 and 2 offered. They were interesting but too universal. On the other hand, parries must leave the MK games. They suck and were the cpu's favourite move once it couldn't use breakers anymore.
