Yep, looks like he wasn't one of the six characters being teased, unless there's an off chance that the designers made both of his costumes and his original was going to be boot number 3 but they switched them around at the end. I wouldn't think that's the case though. The only boots I can really guess are Kenshi for boot 2 and Liu Kang for boot 3 (now that we know it's not Kung Lao).

Im feeling Kenshi or Kabal for 2.

Ed replied in the affirmative when he was asked by someone whether or not the boot pic was a mix of old and new characters. So at least one of them is new.

Oh yeah. I don't have a Twitter so I just know what I hear on here, and I rarely check the Twitter Thread.

In that case, #4 and (hopefully) #5 are new.

Speaking of the twitter thread. I am sickened by the fact we haven't got a hint of anything yet. Ed's silence is killing me.

Speak for yourself, I had to pinch myself in the morning to realize that the Kung Lao leak wasn't just a dream lol. I really am happy for his inclusion since he's in my top 5 favorites of all time, not only for MK but in all fighting games combined.

I believe that the shaolin boot in the boot pic belongs to a new character since the foot looks too small to belong to a male character (Liu Kang). This could be either his daughter or a descendant of his or Lao's, or even Bo Rai Cho's. But that doesn't rule out the possibility of Liu Kang at all either.

In my honest opinion, I can only tell, the boot 2, might be Jax, since it looks like military to me, and boot number 4,(the female one, belong to either Li Mei, or a new female kharacter. It can't be Mileena nor Tanya, since they both wears longer boots, not bare feet. Others, I have no idea.
