Play Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero

Yeah, Mythologies is taking place before Mortal Kombat 1. It also involves all the characters you named off. Have you ever played Mythologies? Go try it if you havent you might like it. Personally i loved that game and I also have it. Go try it out and see what you think.

It may be in the future MK games. Since MK:SM is taking place after MK 1, I don't see why they wouldn't go back. I don't know about the fighting games, but certainly the action games for the future.

An actual Mortal Kombat fighting game prequel to MK1 would be awesome of course. They could go right back to complete old school outfits and backgrounds, maybe even touching on some of the backgrounds from Mythologies.

It could happen it could even be back when the original Kung Lao was around. It would be cool to see the distant relatives of todays characters. Like people from scorpion's clan when it was around.

I've been working on an idea for a future MK game where it is the next generation. I'm way off finished it though.

I would like to see a game that goes into the rivalry between the Lin Kuei and Scorpion's clan. The game would allow you to play through the perspective of a Lin Kuei assasin or a Shinrai Ryu ninja. Through the game you will encounter your rival in certain stages but have no idea why he is there. While you beat the game with one character depending on which clan you decide to be on, you would have to complete the story of the rival character in order to see the entire story. The game could feature two brand new characters that were never seen in Mortal Kombat before, but through their eyes you encounter characters such as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Smoke, and it would be neat if you can encounter Sektor and Cyrax before they are turned into cyborgs.

Think of this game from a Resident Evil perspective, for example in Resident Evil 2 you can choose to play as either Leon or Claire, and in some points during the game Claire and Leon meet but they follow two seperate paths. That is exactly what i'd like to see in a new adventure game.

I love all these Ideas so far. These are some of the vague ideas I was thinking of but couldn't exactly put it into words.

I thought since back in the early days of mortal kombat it would be cool if they would elaborate more on what happen during the days when Shang Tsung first took over the Shaolin tournament and the great kung Lao was champion before goro came and defeated him. Still might be a chance that could happen i hope

Sorry man but Mythologies is taking place before Mortal Kombat 1. If you remember after you beat the game Sub-Zero returns to the Lin Kuei Grandmaster and he congratulates Sub-Zero.Then, the grandmaster said something about how he encountered a sorcerer and it was Shang Tsung. The grandmaster then says he wants you to compete in a tournament called "Mortal Kombat" I was just clearing this up man. Peace.

what about an action/adventure game about Mortal Kombat Conquest (the TV serie) with 3 playables characters: Taja, Original Kung Lao, a,d the other guy who i forgot the name....

As in the serie you will see alliances and treature betweens clans, extinctions of some clans (Reptile..)

And sure, the big fight against Shao Khan himself!

It will be a great alternative!
