I love scorpion but if there is one character that im sick of the most it would be him. Dont get me wrong, id buy such a game if they made it but Id rather see a diffrent character be the star.

Prince of Persia? Please, why would Midway change the whole concept of MK for an adventure game? If anything, it's going to be something like Shaolin Monks. Absolutely no way would MK create its games to look like other games.

It's like asking people to make an adventure game for Jax, GTA style. No, it won't happen in a thousand years.

i think scorpion being a protagonist in the konquest is a great idea but one thing bothers me: scorpion shouldn't be facing sub-zero. or at least he shouldn't be the final boss, since the original sub zero was his original and true rival, so he should be facing noob. right? or maybe quan chi. yeah. those two still have a score to settle. you know, the armagaddon ending, where he says he won't rest until quan chi is destroyed... but scorpion is sll the best. always has been, always will be.

He's talking about the evolving character concept. Putting a character's allegiances to good or evil in the hands of the player. Not the visual style or design of the game...

Which wouldn't be terrible, but I'm with the folks looking for Scorpion in supporting/guest roles, more than a starring slot.
Ironically, I'd much rather a GTA-style open world Special Forces sequel...

It would be much better if Midway pushed forward with making a high quality MK game for the next gen.
