here is an idea for shang and quan to return to MK hardcore

quan chi and shang were not in MKD because the blast distorted all involved....raiden being a god was able to recover quicker..raiden became dark because some of quan chi and shang merged with him......however......shang and quan merged together......in the game it would be similar to noob smoke...but instead of a tag in and out feature....you start with shang and he actually morphs into quan chi and visa versa.....or even better......because they know have a piece of raiden with them.....you can teleport like raiden but you pop up as the other guy.....this could be really cool especially if you made some moves where you pop a guy up and the teleport sends you to the other side....and the second character attacks...so its kinda like the 2 of them would play catch.....but another bizarre twist....the story for Shang-chi should go that they have become the new earthrealm defenders....because that part of raiden has also transferred to them....or maybe shang wants to become a defender while quan still wants to take over the world....or maybe they wish to take charge of the role of defender of earthrealm by killing raiden.......this would be an awsome twist
