I took this from the new Raiden Trailer with Boon commentary. Decided to make a separate thread because I figured it might trigger further stage speculation.

Here

Looks like we will get at least twelve. The jungle is hard to make out details but I see people talking about the Living Forest. hmm.
You will now also notice(by watching the rest of the video) that the character silhouettes are gone completely and only blank squares remain.

That's the stage select screen, not the character select screen.

I haven't seen this video. Is it new? I really dig this approach to character reveals. Hopefully they keep this up!

It is interesting that the silhouettes are gone. I guess the joke is over hahaha.

I must say I am liking the select screen more and more. It is kinda reminiscent of boxing matches where the two contestants stand next to each other for photos prior to the match lol.

But yeah it is really cool how the character is showcased prior to the match like this. It will certainly help with new characters in the roster especially the first time the game is booted up. It gives a glimpse into the character and their abilities.

What ́s new to me is that Boon confirmed Kotal Kahn is Outworld ́s new Emperor. I ́ve missed out on that one.

Maybe it will be 12 but with day/night variations to keep that theme going.

I'm sure it's gonny be more than 12. In MK9 you also saw 10-12 Stages but you could Switch left and right to select from more than 10-12.
