Mk4's Prison stage would be sick to see as well along with the original theme that shit was badass.

So far, no new in-door arenas. So I pick The Prison (MK4), Kuatan Palace (MKDA, )and Reptile's Lair (MKA).

I posted this in another thread about a few weeks ago, but I'd love to see Shang Tsung's Throne Room 25 years later; abandoned, with signs of structural decay and vines growing over things. Add a few shadow priests/robed cultists in the background doing arcane rituals, too. I'd like it to be a place of dark mystery and faded decadence.

My gosh, many arenas in the Mortal Kombat franchise are GREAT.

Where to begin? Quan Chi's Fortress from MKDA!! The Living Forests, all the Pits, the Dead Pools, The MK4 Prison, Shang Tsung's Palace, etc, etc, etc, etc.

I am okay with the return of any arena. Personally, I'm not too worried about arenas.

I am only truly anxious about the possible return of Tanya.

I definitely have always wanted to see Raiden's Sky Temple make a comeback (not the crappy version we saw in MK vs. DC).

I could imagine the Kombat Tomb being remade similar in feel to Shaolin Monks with the next gen graphics. That would definitely be something to see. There's just a LOT of arenas in MK that work in being recreated and reimagined. That's one thing that each game has done a great job.

None. I've been perfectly happy to see the brand new stages in MKX, all have been fantastic. I have tremendous faith in NRS that they'll create some more awesome stages without reliance on those from previous games. Although, I wouldn't be opposed if they had a modified stage or two from previous games that could be downloaded.

I agree. I kinda got my fill of classic retro arenas, but I wouldn't be opposed to a few being thrown in for old times sake, hopefully they would be arenas that didn't make it in the last game. If I had to choose 4 arenas from previous games to return I would have 2 be in the default game and 2 that are DLC.

This for me too, the version from MKD. Always loved this stage.

Also, the pit. Just gotta have it. I liked it in MK9 but the stage fatality wasn't that cool imo, I like the simplicity from MK2 and MK1 better.

Urban Earthrealm backgrouds that are now in ruins after the invasion. I like all of them, but if I had to choose one, then the bank, as it's the most underrated urban stage.

The MKA version of the Bell Tower, complete with it's utterly sadistic stage fatality.

The wastelands, with the MKA stage fatality.

The Pit 2, with it's stage fatality.

The Tekunin base

Quan Chi's tower from MK:DA, with the MKD death trap as a stage fatality.

Jade's desert, with a stage fatality involving moving sands.

Well since Goro's in, I do look forward to seeing the revamped version of his lair in MKX but other than that, I happily welcome all of these new stages that we're getting. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Wow lol OP listed the two I came to say. I would say all of the MK1-3 stages but since a lot of them were in the last game seeing them again is unlikely. Hopefully we get some aged versions of one or two of the classics though.

I would care to see:
wind world / falling cliff hybrid
kombat tomb / warrior shrine mix
wasteland - maybe rip a leg off of a body on a pike & slap someone in the face similar to branch from snow forest

lung hai temple - maybe have platform float out along koast or from river to arrive there

chamber of artifacts - not seeing that s fatal just grindz my gearsz
prison / mine mix?
sky temple with meteor showers & fatal with overhead view & original pit 2 death or jagged rocks
