There are, they appear at the same place has those wins per character you mentioned.

However, I noticed that the stats of some characters simply reset, by example, last I checked Raiden had around 7 million wins, but then when the number of times he was used appeared, and it was lower than that, around 4 million, that's crearly not possible. The same happenned to Jacqui and Kung Jin.

I searched everywere to find those stats outside the game but had no sucess, they only show up in the online menu and it takes around 2 hours to all character's numbers appear.

There are also a few interesting data in there, like number of Quitalities, number of times Story Mode was finished and a few others.

Event hubs has a tier list, but its based on the community so how accurate it is is debatable, I personally don't use it but its interesting to skim through http://www.eventhubs.com/tiers/mkx/

I doubt there will ever be anything like what OP said, I just don't see that idea ever coming to fruition. I would like to see a most used stat list like they had in MK9, i'm curious if there is one floating around somewhere. Maybe tweet it to NRS?

No offense taken lol it seems pretty silly to me too, especially with Reptile being number 1. I believe its community based, so that could explain why its so odd, its pretty much whoever votes for what.

Unless NRS implement the character usgae list like they did for MKX the best people have got is looking at the ticker in the Online section.

You can sort of get the general list of character popularity from the ticker. Last time I checked Scorpion followed by Sub-Zero were miles ahead of everyone else. Kung Jin and Takeda seemed to be the most popular new characters.
