I mean they gave sub-zero the ice shaker in (MKDA) only to remove it in (MKD)

I think its time to give these two a huge makeover including their look

Some ideas:

For Sub-Zero how about a move simular to akuma's Kongō Kokuretsu Zan where Akuma pounds the ground producing waves of energy unleashing a mountain of destruction (only instead of a wave (ICE)

For scorpion i fire projectile and plz plz plz do a little more with his spear AKA (MKSM)

and for the record when i say they need new moves i don't mean to add them on to the existing moves and don't bother saying scorpion is not scorpion without his spear because im not saying to remove it im simpy saying do more with the bloody thing
