for me its this:
make this game like twisted metal black. have it to where you see a small video clip of these characters and why they are in this tournament. after a few guys and killed a sub-boss, you see another clip of them on why they're killing so many to get what they want, to answer questions, and why they want to hunt this guy down. and at the end, you get to see another clip of their story finally come to an end. i thought this idea for twisted metal was great, and because everything was so dark, and mk wants to be dark, let's combine that idea with mk., and you'll probably get a great game.
sub-zero + scorpion - we all know they will return, but for sub-zero i would like for him to keep this "god" title of his and have him start a rivalry with raiden. (i'll get to raiden later) and with scorpion, he should still remain neutral but keep the champion title with him. start a new rivralry with a new character. i'm tired of quan chi being his enemy so i'm making it to where he's enemies with a new charcter that midway develops.
frost - not just because she's my favorite character, but becuase she has a good story going aroung. make her like a jane doe person. have it to where she just woke up being in a frozen tomb thanks to sub-zero, and have her gain her memory back while you're playing her character. but there's another thing. as sub-zero froze her, his medallion accidentally drops into her tomb, and he cannot retrieve it nor does he remember he actually dropped it. so all frost has to recall her memory is from that medallion.
hotaru - i didn't like the people that hotaru were enemies with, so instead, lets make him go after frost with that medallion that she has. i feel that this character should be in rage with power, and that he wants to be a very powerful person. with stealing sub-zero's medallion that frost has, he'll become very powerful as well.
reptile - this character should not go, i liked reptile in the very beginning, where he's a slithery protector of shang tsung. and i want this to happen once again.
shang tsung - lets say that he became an old man again, and that the older he gets, the weaker he is, only entering mortal kombat once again to get his strength, youth and power back. only with reptile being his only ally though.
sektor - i thought one cyborg should come back, make it sektor. have him where he's the leader of the tekunin army and he wants to destroy the special forces with sonya and jax.
mileena - mileena imo is better that kitana, and because she can really fool everyone into thinking that she is kitana, i want her to have it where she acually killed her sister and takes over edenia. but she will have a different attire. have it to where she's all in blue, but still have pink on becuase that's really her main color. she can start a rivalry with jade.
jade - she doesn't beleive that the kitana that took over edenia is the real kitana, she goes through the mk tournament to prove that the kitana in the throne is a fake.
noob - noob can start a rivalry with smoke, i'm going to have it where he was defeated by ashrah (in her deception ending) and have him go after smoke becuase he couldn't help him while he was being defeated by ashrah. so becuase of that defeat, he will take it all out on smoke.
human smoke - i feel that making him a robot shouldn't happen again, and many people like human smoke more than robo smoke so that's why i made him human. anyways, he will start a rivalry with noob.
raiden - i want him to stay as a good elder god, i don't like his new attitude with being evil anymore. but this time, he's going after sub-zero after findng out that sub-zero is now somewhat a "god" with his strength and power and he feels that he will be a threat to the people in earthrealm not to mention that one cannot be a "god" without concering it out with the other elders.
this is all i can think of right now the others i want to make a return again are:
sheeva, ermac, jax, sareena, fujin, kabal, nitara, rain and stryker. yes i said stryker. but i can't think of why i want them in the game, so i think i might make another post later, if still open, and finish these characters.
