Alt skins for Tremor, Tanya and Bo confirmed?

There's a pic floating around of a Jacqui vs Leatherface fight in which both are sporting never before seen alternate costumes (Leatherface with a joker like suit, and Jacqui with a very ugly full bodysuit with armour. Does this mean the other dlc characters are getting new skins too? It would be embarrassing if the guest characters get new costumes, and the actual mk characters get sidelined.
For those who missed it, new Jacqui and Leatherface costumes (from Gamestop) :
Some people think the Leatherface one might just be a variation change, but it seems like too much of a change for it to be that. I would love costumes for Tanya, Tremor and the other MK dlc characters....Clearly the trailer didn't show everything.

Let's hope so.
I to this day still don't understand why NRS releases them with just one costume. But they always boast "Yup they're full characters and have what everyone else has."

I don't think that suit is really purple, it's just the arena that makes it seem that way. Leatherface actually wears a suit in the films. It probably is a variation.

I'm pretty sure that it's just a variation change for Leatherface. They've displayed three pretty different looks for him in the trailers.
- Traditional mask with the apron
- "Dinner wear" mask with the makeup and suit
- 2003 mask with different coloured clothes, plus a hammer

Pretty sure those are just part of Leatherface's variation changes. He changes his clothes (and mask) for different occasions, it makes sense that they would make his outfits change along with his masks.

We still need Klassic Packs (Shinnok, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Tanya, Bo Rai Cho and Goro).
And alts packs (Tanya, Tremor and Bo Rai Cho).
I hope we have Cassie in Alien Pack, the Reptile Lizard somewhere. And Quan Chi in Horror Pack. And we know that we will have another Skin for Ermac.
Sadly, I am pretty certain we're not getting any alts for DLC characters. Leatherface has very unique variation visuals, which is great, but they are nonetheless just that.
Besides, in the KP2 trailer we saw Tanya, and she had her default costume. If they had made her a new one they'd have shown it off then.

Characters out as Alien, Jason can not win even alternate outfits. Because imply relicensing.

While I appreciate the added effort to Leatherface if they gave him the standard outfit, dinner mask and suit for variations, it's kind of annoying to see no DLC get alternate outfits while he pretty much gets that disguised as variations.

Agreed. All of this discussion is bringing up that anger I had about DLC not having alts.
I'm honestly beginning to believe the theory that DLC does not get Alts, because of the guest characters.

Guest Characters are similar to DC Comic characters. I remember Ed saying that the Costumes had to be approved by DC Comics some taking up to 4 month to get approval.
Probably some truth to it but also probably just a excuse by NRS
I think Bo Rai Cho, Tanya, Tremor & Triborg will get Alternates this time around

But if you were making Leatherface, what would you use to differentiate the variations?
I'm not saying DLC shouldn't get alts, but that aside from the various appearances he's had in the films you would be hard pressed to find different visual cues for each variation.

I've never watched a TCSM movie so I wouldn't know, but if they found something for Jason I'm pretty sure they can do it for Leatherface too.
He had a red shirt in the KP2 gameplay trailer and they've never shown P2 colors in trailers before.

If I had to guess, that's still just a variation change. It resembles the 2003 version of Leatherface, this one;
I wouldn't mind seeing a classic skin for Tremor seeing as how unless you had the Vita you couldn't use it. It is funny how they never mention Tremor as part of the Lin Kuei clan. If you remember in Mortal Kombat Trilogy's manual Rain got Tremor's bio by mistake. When he and Sub-Zero meet there is not real mention of the Lin Kuei in any way.

New timeline. Probably not part of the Lin Kuei.
