A run button?! Seriously?! Whats wrong with dash?

It's only speculation at this point but the idea of a run button disturbs me a little bit. I sense that there would be some technical problems in doing so. I liked the dash system that NR implemented with MK9 and I don't think it needs to be changed. What do you think?

It could be like Tekken where you double tap the forward button to start running.

I could see that. I just feel that the fighting wouldn't be as smooth if that makes sense. That being said, I'm sure the team at NRS know what they're doing.

Yeah, I favor the dash to a run button...just feels better to me. Hopefully we'll get some info on that next week. I imagine if there is a run button Ed will talk about it.

If it was the MKArmageddon days, I'd be questioning these new gameplay elements.

But today's a new day, I can definitely trust them with the fighting engine now 'cause each one of the newer games that came under NRS (MK9, Injustice) just got better and better.

Why can't there be both? R2 as block, L2 as run, double tap forward to dash.

True but I think NRS went back to the dash for MKDA with good reason. That leads me to believe that they may indeed stay with it. Fingers crossed!

I say have both dashing and the running. The run button could be used as a requirement for certain setups. It doesn't have to be a rushdown tool.

Yes, please. Even if its just a one-time per match expense. To have that ability to close the gap FAST would come in handy.
