A possiable reason for Kung Lao returning

So as you may know, Kung Lao was killed in the MK9 story but here he is. But, must people seem to look over the fact that Kung Lao wasn't killed by Sindel, but rather Shao Kahn snapped his neck.

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at. I do see the similarities between Kung Lao and Liu Kang's deaths in MK9 and MKDA respectively but are you saying we're getting a zombie/ghost KL? He is obviously quite alive and well.
