I think and i need a MKX Demo to kill the time until it launches. In my knowledge there havent been any mk demo for us to download. So there have to be something for us people that cant get to any cons etc. So we can get our fingers on that beast!

I don't think a demo for MKX will be available until maybe February or March if at all.

I would actually like the current build as a demo.
But I don't think there's been any word of one.

Thats the point. I know we will not get one now, but i just hope for one anytime. Maybe we need a petition for boon to grace us with one^^ just kiding :) but i think it would be a good move from nrs to let us get a bite out of the pie. Not just for us fans to have some good time before we buy it, but to get some new folks into the game as well

Adam Urbani said in that interview that they'd like to do a demo but they don't know if they will because that's a very late decision.

I dont know how much efort and time id would cost NRS for that. I think (and most of you would agree) Just give us the current build demo that was shown so far. I wouldnt complain for any bugs etc. I just want to play thatgrin

The earliest i see a demo coming is in January or February. Unless Ed boon decided to give a demo as a Christmas present that would be very sweet of him. I also wonder how many fighters will be playable in the demo?

Could have sworn that a Demo was confirmed months ago.

If I had to guess though, expect a Playstation 4 demo only.

The last time they did a demo, everything about the game was tapped into and leaked online.

Yeah, but they used a somewhat finished build of the game to do a demo. They did it right with Injustice, so we may see one next year for MKX.

There will most likely be a Demo released in February probably only 4 characters and 2 Arenas similar to Injustice.

Unfortunately NRS love affair with Sony will probably screw over Xbox One owners furiousfuriousfurious

If we do get a demo, there will only be like 2-3 characters on it like how Injustice was. Would still be good to kill time grin

True words... sadly . I own a xbox one and i want a demo for the system. The best solution would be to release a demo for every system around.

The Injustice demo was on Xbox Live, so there's plenty of hope for a MKX demo to be there too.

Keyword: "Injustice". Not Mortal Kombat.
And the MORTAL KOMBAT demo was only on Playstation 3.

You do realize both games were made by the same team and published by the same company, right? It's not like WB has special rules for MK over DC. If anything WB would have been more restrictive with what happened with the DC property.

Furthermore, WB had no idea how MK was going to be received, therefore likely didn't want to allocate the funds for additional demos. Obviously, MK9 was a financial success and WB gave them more budget and a bigger push for Injustice. Since Injustice was also a success, the logical progression is that WB would continue to push MKX as they did with Injustice, possibly even more so.

MK9 is not the game to look to when making predictions/assumptions for MKX's release. Injustice is the game to use for comparisons.
