The original version version of MK: SF looked very promising. I believe it is not too late to remake MK:SF in the way it was originally intended, with Sonya, Kabal etc.

It wouldn't necessarily need to be exactly as it was intended before Tobias left though. Jax doesn't/didn't need to be playable, but Sonya does (and did). You could incorporate the Red Dragon, with Hsu Hao as a side character (preferably playable imo) infiltrating the special forces. Explain how Kabal left the Black Dragon in order to become a cop. The possibilities...

Who's with me? MK: SF remake, yes or no?

We don't need John Tobias. The idea is to make a game based on what he intended, if Ed Boon or anyone else at NRS even remember what that was exactly.

Even if the intended version is forever lost (Don't think it is, but that's just my opinion), a MK:SF remake should be made anyway.

I would like that. Besides, maybe this will involve Sonya, Jax, Kabal and Kano.

Especially replacing and fixing those of the Black Dragon and for the Red Dragon to get involved.

Black Dragon
- Kano
- Tremor (giant and earth ninja)
- Gunslinger
- Jarek (cowboy, tri-star and lasso)
- Sniper

About Me

Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.

The only way I'd be okay with it is if it included more characters on both sides.

Not just Jax and Sonya. Have the story evolve, and have Cyrax, Kenshi, Stryker (Challenge Tower claims he's a member), and some new characters be playable as well. Maybe Kabal, but I don't know what they want to do with him.

Have Black Dragon include Kano, Jarek, Kira, Kobra, and a bunch of the characters who were neglected in the past.

You do realize MK:SF was intended to be a prequel to MK1, right? Which isn't to say I'm opposed to to these characters worked in if done right, I'm just making sure you know MK:SF was meant to be a prequel.

Anyway, I remember reading somewhere that Kano was supposed to be playable. Whether or not that was true, I certainly like the idea. Kabal could be playable, too.

While it was meant to be a prequel, I wouldn't have the game end once Sonya and Kano arrive to Tsung's island. I like the idea of starting the game with "realistic" missions so to speak (infiltrating warehouses and the like) and ending it with the more mythical elements. The Subway could make an appearance in the first mission.

I would like about how Kano's eye turned into a laser eye. When Kabal left the Black Dragon and joined Stryker's team.

Sonya, Jax and Stryker can be playable. Think of this as a Metal Gear Solid counterpart.

Since Kano's the leader of the Black Dragon, what members can you have to replace the worthless ones? I'd like Tremor to be fixed into a copied ninja to a ninjutsu brute with intelligence.
- Master of disguise
- Giant and earth ninjutsu expert
- Interrogator/Gunfighter
- Hacker
- Sniper
- Psychic ability

NOPE! I did not know that.

I apologize. Carry on.

Here's a way to incorporate Kobra in the remake.

He'd only be some street punk you'd knock out of your way. Hell, I'd make him the practice dummy, who'd help players get used to the controls, learn a few special moves and combos, and so on.

You could also use his design, at least his mug, for generic, nameless thugs.

Speaking of designs, Sonya should definitely have her MK:SF design, it was gorgeous. Who's idea was it to scrap her in favor of Jax?
