A great way to kill off some un-favored fighters

This is Armageddon right? Well if this has every character this will be a good way to take out some characters for future games. I think that it would be cool if they gave some of the characters a final salute before they get killed off. This could also be the reason why Sub and Scorpion are leaving for a little while or for good:

(Following MK7)
Shinnok overpowers his enemies with his Army of Darkness and he returns to Earthrrealm destroying all life in the process. Although he had struggled against the Chosen Warriors and there were some that made assassination attempts on his life, such as Baraka, he defeats whoever is a threat and only lets those survive that are truly loyal or too weak to rise up against him. So the surviving characters from the MK Universe could be:

GOOD
Sonya, Fujin... these are the only two I could see leading a final resistance

EVIL
Shinnok, Noob, Reptile... Noob seems to be the only one that hasn't betrayed Shinnok and Reptile is loyal to whoever is most powerful

As for Sub-Zero and Scorpion, maybe the two of them get locked in some kind of battle, and get sent into a time warp eternally fighting until they are released for the FINAL game

I don’t really like the idea of getting rids of characters to make some space...

But fallowing your threads general idea, I think these still have enough power to survive:

GOOD:

Rayden: If not corrupted by madness and all, he can still live to guide the heroes with a new role. I see him more promising as a leader then Fujin anyways.

Sonya: I agree with you, she still has enough in her to lead the forces of light to victory, she is tough, smart, and the only chosen female to protect earth. She is part of the main trio.

Liu Kang: Part of the main trio and earths champion (4 in a row), so, Liu Kang is basically strong enough to survive any attack.

Johnny Cage: Believe it or not, he has helped to protect earth since day one, forms part of the main chosen trio, and has what it takes to battle.

Sub-Zero: He is a force of power now, I really cant picture him defeated, not yet.

EVIL:

Hmm, its much more difficult, but I think these will last till the end:

The One Being: If made as powerful as he is supposed to be, then yes.

Shang Tsung: Perhaps the most evil of all evil characters.

As far as bad guys go, none of them are truly loyal. I believe the only bad guy in the series who really was loyal was Reptile.

This is an intersting idea, but I don't think it'll happen. As long as Earthrealm exists there will be a resistance. Sure there might be a massive downfall in the ranks of good, but there'll be more than Sonya and Fujin defending Earth.

As for Noob, he was glad he had no more masters at the start of MKD. It allowed him to go about his own plans. He won't be too happy to see former masters back. He will want to continue his own dealings.

Johnny Cage should come back but he shouldn't be so stupid... I know he is the comic relief but holy shit look at his MK4 ending... no wonder there are people that put him down there with Stryker... make him stronger, give him a cooler look and make him more serious

You'd think Raiden would tell him to smarten up if he takes him out of heaven to fight again

i like johnny cages look in mk2 and yea they only did that 2 johnny becuz johnnys brags to much and a real hero doesnt brag and think like it was nothin the only people i think that should be voted off is darrius,kobra,dairou,reiko,jarrek sucks, shang tsung should finally die, um.....who cares about shinnok his son is more powerful than he is, and ashrah, sheeva cheats in mk3, who cares about sindel, sonya should kill off the rest of the black dragon including kano , mavado sucks, hotaru is obsessed with the law he should b killed... and thats .. it...no wate .. mokap... fuck him

The Black Dragon is sent to be executed by Hotaru, but quickly thinking Kano and Kabal attack and kill Hotaru, Jarek and Kira take out the remaining guards then Sonya enters the Realm with the rest of the special forces, Kano,Kira and Kabal manage to escape but Jarek trips up and attempts to fight Cyrax....bad move and gets mauled by nano bugs (MK Annilation). PS: Am I the only one who thinks Ahhnilation is decent?
