Hold on a second, it states clearly nsobo, that he got a vision from Raiden telling him he was in Outworld and in order to survive he needed to learn how to fight...and Master Bo Rai Cho trains anybody, for example, he trained Shujinko in MK Deception in Mantis and Shaolin Fist....plus he trained Liu Kang on how to do that karate kick to defeat Shang Tsung in the first MK. HE IS A TRAINER! And did it make sense when Nitara came into the MK franchise, NO! Ed Boon wants to expand MK's mythology and expand characters from different times!

No! That has got to be the worst idea ever, no offense. The story is pretty unoriginal. Another Special Forces member? I don't even really know what to say to this... blah, no, no, no!

I wasn't totally dissing your idea, I just want to the Special Forces to disappear. They're so lame now. I like your idea, but I can see someone from a Greek or Roman army instead, just cause they are brute and rough, unlike Colonial Army men, who probably didn't even know how to throw a punch. LOL.

Legacy makes a good point your timetravel concept can be made to work for ne1 in the past, which gives you a vast choice. personaly i would go for a gladiator from roman times.

also how about having your character befriended by Quan-Chi that promises him a way back home if he does some quests for him. this fits brillantly with Quan-Chi's persona thus enabling your character a smooth transition into MK. later on he can find Scorpion that informs him Quan-Chi's a liar thus forming a temporary alliance with the ninja spcetre. after defeating Quan-Chi your character could go roaming through the realms trying to fnd a place to fit in and a purpose. then he can meet sub-zero who hearing how you aided scorpion offers to train you as part of the lin kuei to make amends for his older brothers actions.

hey these are just some basic ideas hope they help. also here's a tip that insures all your bios are a hit, they need a big, unexpected twist, MK's foundations are made of them

keep writing those bios i can see you getting quite good at them in the future .

I do agree with the Special Forces disappearing Legacy, because they are lame! and Special Forces and guns don't belong in MK, there should be a death of Sonya and Jax in the MK future, and the extinction of the Special Forces for all of eternity.

Why don't we just forget the idea of a colonial minuteman, and work on a Roman Gladiator character named Maximus . . . I REQUEST THIS THREAD TO BE SHUT DOWN! I will make a new thread on a Gladiator character from Roman times ASAP THANKS!

And a gladiator-type of character is an interesting concept. In the future I'd like to see a gladiator that fought for another realm vs. Outworld in a previous Mortal Kombat (a tournament that realm obviously lost.)

And he/she should look like one of the statues from the first MK movie.
