Anyone else think they may just put this in? from what i was reading on the MKSM forum they really seem to like this idea and there was concepets of this in the krypt in MKd if i can remeber and another thing was that they said they were going to b adding 3 things never done in fighting games befor so maybe this could be one of them?

Not like doa at all i was more thinking along the lines of 4 ppl in the arena at a time, sorta like the MKSM 2 player vs mode how its just one big arena, but have it as an option so u can have normal vs and ko-op/ 4 player vs
