Looks awesome! I still don't know if he'll be playable, but him having a completely new look and model (compared to Sindel who looks really similar to her MK9 main) is a good start for Rain.

Thats not the best thing, the best thing is that Rain kick Kotal later and falls too, most likely he is going to fall on Mileena lol

Yeah agreed. As much as I desperately want Rain to be playable, he looks like he's been updated just enough to play his role in the challenge tower missions he's rumored to be in. I'm happy he's in the story though.

I think this gives more credence to him being playable rather than a random cameo

The rise and fall of Kotal, this is more than likely the event before the comic where Kotal betrays Mileena. That's exactly why Rain in here fighting along side of her. That's why the writer said it's not the last they'll show of Rain from the comic after he got burnt. I can't be the only one that sees this and realizes that it's obvious just for the story mode. Atleast Rain wasn't swept under the rug after MK9 and they brought him into MKX's story.
