1. Scorpion- In his ending, he finally completes his task, he gets revenge, it's over. Then, Quan Chi pops out and kidnaps his kid. If I could ever think of something so terribly thought through to make Scorpion have to stay, it is clearly his latest ending. Why does he have the same story in every game, and the same ending? Scorpion wants revenge, ending: Scorpion gets his little revenge, but the murderer of his family somehow slips out of his palms. If there is ANYONE who has served their purpose it is definitely Scorpion.

2. Kitana- Sorry babe, you know I love you, but seriously, your story usually ends the same way too, you can't possibly kill a savage, anger filled, clone of yours in every game. In MKDA she had a new story and new ending, but then it went back to the same old sibling rivalry with Mileena. Either settle your differences, or die, and I think that Mileena should finally kill her.

3. Lui Kang- Mortal Kombat is the only game where the winner of the first four tournaments was the same person (that I know of) ever since I found out he won MK2, I thought it was stupid and they were just trying to make him more popular. Get rid of him, he's cool and all and everyone loves him, but the lord giveth and the lordeth taketh awayeth.

Okay, top ten characters that should not return (Sounding like Letterman here.):

10. Shao Kahn - He's had a good run. They should just kill him and not tarnish him further (I think the whole "It was really a clone!" thing was bad enough.).

9. Stryker - Unless his bio shows some real purpose to his character, I think he should go.

8. Baraka - Typical henchman who, unlike Reptile, has never successfully gone his own way.

7. Tanya - Simply because I don't like her and want to see her get her comeuppance in the end.

6. Jarek - After seeing his bio, I lost any real interest in his character. He's best killed off.

5. Liu Kang - If people believe that death improves you, that can't be a good thing. Plus the Shang and Quan double-team tactic was a hilarious way for him to go and should not be compromised by having him come back and live out a stale "Immortal Champion" story again.

4. Kobra - Comes across as a real dick in his bios, and I think he should be killed by a stray bullet. Seriously, he should have been shot long ago if his bio is to be believed (Personally, I think he's lying. Replace "drug dealers" and "criminals" with "senior citizens" and "children". ).

3. Goro - He really should have stayed dead. Coming back to serve Shao Kahn completely negated any sense of depth he had.

2. Kai - Hasn't had any real use or purpose up to this point, anyway.

And number one of the top ten characters that should not return is *drum roll*...

1. Kabal - I really began to dislike him since Havik brought him back. Like with Goro, he loses his appeal by going back to his old, evil ways.

Well if I were to pick 10, then it should be:

1) Reptile- too much of a slave and a kiss-ass.Never liked him

2) Dairou- Orderrealm sucks!

3) Darrius- Out of all the new Deception characters, he's the crappiest.

4) Jarek- Do we really need more Black Dragon members?

5) Bo Rai Cho- Well there's nothing much to say about him except that he's BAD

6) Hotaru- Worthless!

7) Kano- hmmmmm, don't see anything good

8) Shujinko- buh-bye gramps

1) Kai-Worst. Character. Ever. His moves suck. His storyline sucks. His appearance sucks. He sucks.

2) Mokap-I like a good joke as much as anyone, but the time spent on him could have gone to something else.

3) Liu Kang-Stay dead, please. Taven is the way of the future.

4) Darrius-He's just too unlikable and boring. Have Dairou kill him and be done with it.

5) Goro-Stop switching sides. If we need an evil Shokan, they can just reboot Kintaro.

6) Hsu Hao-I guarantee he would have stayed dead, had MKA not promised to include EVERY fighter in MK's history.

7) Kabal-Once again, stop switching sides. If we need a Black Dragon leader, they can just have Kira kill him.

8) Frost-They've done everything they can with her. Sareena can be Subby's female accomplice.

9) Baraka-As fun as he is to play with, his storyline has just become too boring. Have Mileena kill him.

10) Dairou-Kill Darrius, then leave.

As more bios come out, and more is clarified....I will probably adjust this list accordingly. But that's what I see right now...

Khameleon never served Shao Kahn. She was always against him. Also, you forgot Mileena and Ermac.

Its less than 10 that i want gone for good.

1) Chameleon - Ever since MKT I hated this guy with a passion. He's a pathetic excuse for a ninja. I mean why the hell was time even wasted in the creation of this guy in the first place.

2) Meat - Of all people, I'm wondering to this day why the hell he was even thought of. His moves in MKA was horrible gameplay-wise. I mean his teleportation move was a bloody skeleton copy of Smoke's Play Dead for christs sake. Its like, combine Havik, Smoke, and a bloody skeleton then you have one of the worst characters ever.

3) Mokap - I have gained some respect for the guy but still, I NEVER thought he had any place in the MK universe at all.

4) Shao Kahn - He's one of my favorite characters but this guy's time in the MK universe should've ended after MK3. I mean just when you thought he was finally 6 feet underground, he returns.
