I was wondering what will happen in the next game? Are they going to play a huge role? Will they be slaved? Will the heros have to kill them? And i mean the ones that weren't defeated already by Radien i think it was that defeated them.

why not the ones raiden defeated? i dont think he killed them again.
They're most likely going to be comprising Shinnok's dark horde and our surviving heroes: Johnny Cage, Sonya, Kai, Bo Rao Cho, Ermac, Kenshi, Fujin, Raiden etc will be trying to liberate them
Raiden defeated some of them, but they were already dead, so he couldn't kill them anyway, only temporarily dispatch them.
Thhe fallen slaves will be a huge plot point in the next story mode and we'll probably see some majorly emotional struggles for Sonya and Johnny as they plead with their fallen comrades.

Sub-Zero probably gonna be saved by Sareena from the enslavement, avenging her torture after the events of MK Mythologies and witnessing how corrupted Bi-Han has become (who,I hope,is back for the next game too).
After Sub-Zero is rescued,I bet Smoke is gonna be okay too cuz Subbie won't let his best friend to rot at Quan Chi's place. Together, they will try to take Lin Kuei from Sektor, who is now Grandmaster of the clan.
Jade,Kitana and Sindel will return to separated Edenia to also take back the reigns from Rain or Tanya.(at least, how I see it) I hope Ermac is gonna aid them, because King Jerrod is one of THEM :) Jade should confront Tanya, while I am not sure with ideas about others.(Ermac,Kitana,Sindel) Actually, after becoming Princess of Edenia again,Kitana can go at war with Mileena,Queen of Outworld now,I think it is fantastic. Or Kitana will confront corrupted Liu Kang, who became Protector-but-tyrant of Earthrealm, trying to get him to senses.
For Kabal and Stryker, somebody before proposed an incredible idea to send Stryker to Seido (Orderrealm) to become Seidan Guardsman and Law Enforcer across all the realms. Kabal,in the meantime, should be allied with Havik(as in MK Deception) and represent the Chaos. This would lead to some interesting confrontation between Kabal and Stryker, former partners,as representatives of Chaos and Order respectively.
I liked how they mentioned several times Liu Kang turning on Raiden,I think it is pretty interesting. He will become Protector of Earthrealm and corrupted as fuck.Maybe this plot should be used not in the next game straight away, but I would LOVE this to be made in future MK games.
About others,I am not sure though.Jax probably will go back to work with Sonya and Kenshi on OIA.I would love Cyrax to go there too as in MK Deadly Alliance, because this Kenshi-Sonya-Jax-Cyrax team didn't get enough time to be presented proper way (only throughout MK Deadly Alliance and only in endings)
Not sure about Nightwolf, but he is full of potential and power,a lot can be done about him.

Ermac isn't a good guy anymore.

To be fair, Ermac wasn't even a good guy at all during this part of the timeline, it wasn't until Deadly Alliance/Deception that Kenshi freed him and he turned good. His arcade ending pretty much hints that they may continue his redemption storyline.
Ermac is going to be free from Shao Kahn's control after this game since Shao Kahn is gone and since King Jerrod's soul is inside Ermac, he's going to probably join the heroes to liberate the souls of his wife and daughter. I'm making a prediction, but I'd be willing to bet my shoes that is where NRS is going, they didn't reveal what Ermac truly is in his ending for nothing in my view.

They will be part of Shinnoks army and whats left of the Earthrealm heroes and some new heroes(MK4-MKD) will try to break control of Quan Chis sorcery. Ermac will be a good guy this time around because since Shao Kahn is gone, he is free
I would like to see a lot of former enemies and foes ally together against the now-mighty Netherrealm horde of enslaved heroes.
It would finally allow noble lackeys like Reptile and Sheeva to stand on their own for once, while giving those that are often ignored in favor of the traditional heroes (such as Kai, Sareena, Li Mei, Bo RaiCho, Fujin) to shine in their stead.
And, I may be alone (I doubt it), but I apart of me still wants to see Raiden get some sort of karma comeuppance for leading all those good heroes to their untimely demises and then betraying their trust in him by bartering their freedom to a Netherrealm demon. I... wouldnt trust Raiden much after that. Or at all. Ever.
All hail Liu Kang, new Protector of Earthrealm.

So let's say Lui Kang is dead now, does he become a part of Quan Chi's army or does he not because Raiden killed him? It may seem a stupid question but I'm just looking into all the speculation.

Since Liu Kang is dead, and died during Kahn's rule, or whatever that BS is, he'll join the other heroes as members of the Brotherhood of Shadow..
Quan Chi should be converting them now...

Thanks for clearing that up. Seems like Quan Chi has got quite the army.
