Thats sth someone who is actually part of the whole "conspiracy" you're talking about would say...plus you are not answering my question, just being rude and critical of other ppl's opinions (which is sadly not the first time i see you do that) and thus your comment contributed absolutely nothing to the comversation. I made an observation, which btw other ppl have also noticed if you'd be kind enough to read some posts again, and even after the "character i prefer" lost a while ago, i still gladly voted in many other face offs. But when i speak up about sth obvious...jee i am butthurt coz Mileena lost like 2 weeks ago! Whaaatever lol...

Well jaded -raven the same cane be said about how you view Sub-Zero, i honestly believe he had far ebtter story progression to jade, and i still believe the cyber thing was a half ass attempt to make people go "omg". Anyways i liked Jade alot, but i voted for Cage only because he was great during story mode. This was a hard one to decide.

If Kitana can beat Sub Zero, and Jade survives this battle and wins against the winner of Kabal/Raiden; then we might actually get to see Kitana vs. Jade and that would be kewl IMO but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Regardless, I like Kabal better so he's going to get my vote as a heads-up! Raiden's fatalities have been horrible after MK4 til now. We still havn't got to see an up-to-date 3D form of his classic MK1 Fatality like they should've.

Yet, if it wasn't for Raiden we wouldn't have us a MK9; but he's still not getting my vote :) I absolutely love his vertical slice fatality with the head on his hooksword; that was just pure genius/sweet!!!

This is fucking stupid. I'm done voting on this obviously rigged compeition. There's obviously some 4chan POS that's voting for Jade nonstop. There is no way that Jade is that popular. That she managed to beat Mileena and now most likely Johnny Cage too. She can't be in the top eight best MK characters. She's a damn supporting character to Kitana. MK rarely has her doing anything substantial in the story.

If she wins, that will be all the validation I will need to determine that the compeition is in fact rigged. Cheers, have fun watching Jade win the whole thing. And everyone should thank Jaded-raven at the end for the being the 4chan loser that's obviously using his boner that he has for Jade to click the button on the mouse to vote for Jade.

You have to consider who she's going up against... I think both Mileena and Johnny Cage are more polarizing characters than just outright popular. It wouldn't surprise me if they both have as many haters as they do fans. Jade is very neutral in that respect, I don't think very many people actually hate her. Plus... Jade probably shares a lot of fans with Mileena. Like someone said earlier, a lot of people tend to like Kitana/Mileena/Jade as a whole too, in addition to their favorite out of the three. It's very possible for Jade to get that many votes... Maybe not necessarily be that popular, but getting the votes is a different situation. Being one of the "holy trinity" (Kitana, Mileena, Jade, and sometimes Y) of MK females counts for a lot, I would guess.

how is this poll rigged? How many accounts would someone have to make to actually make a difference in a poll? And what reason would this site or someone rig this poll so Jade could win. This is all a conspiracy for Jade to win for no actual reason!!! We decided this at our fictional gay agenda meetings that also upset right wingers :) *two birds, baby. two birds*

I simply can't believe Jade is that popular. If she was, I'd be fighting her alot more online but I don't. I rarely ever play a Jade-user and I'm 95th in the world for MK on ps3 so I play MK quite a bit. I play far more Mileena and Johnny cage users.

Popularity of the characters is a bit of a different boat than the popularity of their gameplay.

Jade is quite possibly one of the lowest-tier fighters in the game. Doesn't mean that a high-tier fighter is impossible to beat using Jade, just a lot tougher. And you know how a lot of online randoms are like, they don't enjoy having to work harder for their wins.

I think he's awesome and I have always thought he was awesome. He's one of the characters of the old timeline with the most interesting storylines. He keeps evolving and he's one of the coolest (no pun intended) characters there's ever been in Mortal Kombat.

So what did you think my point of view is? That just because I prefer his new cyborg form over his human form, I'm ignorant? Because if that's the case, you are sorely mistaken.

I can honestly say that I never expected this to happen. I know Jade is well-liked by some, but I really thought Cage would have alot more voters on his side and that he would win by alot. Let's see how long Jade will actually be in the lead... if she wins this round, I'm going to be thrilled!

Man, will you lighten up already? It was sarcasm. Look, I'm sorry if I came off like a jerk, now or in the past. That's not who I am, really.

But in addition to making light of your claims, I also spoke up because the way I see it, this whole "it's rigged" thing that you and other people keep talking about is basically crapping all over the hard work that has been put in to creating and maintaining what was supposed to be a source of fun and perhaps lively debate for the MK fans that come to this site.

By saying it's rigged, you're calling in to question the mods ability to get rid of fake accounts, and you're saying that all the effort that site admins put in to this whole thing is worth nothing because either they've fixed it or it's fixed in general (by others) so they basically did this for nothing.

So how do you respond? By saying that I must be involved in rigging it too. Thanks man. I've been here since this was MK5.org and I have nothing but respect for the mods and the site operators. I'd never in a million years try to ruin something like this, so please don't include me in your little witch hunt.

Also, my disagreeing with you WAS my contribution to the conversation. You need to accept when people disagree with you and think that your conspiracy is not only far-fetched but disrespectful.

I also read every post in this thread. I don't need to re-read them. Disagree with the way that people voted all you want. Say I have bad taste for preferring Jade to Milleena and Cage all you want. But don't accuse me of cheating and don't accuse the mods of being incompetent (which is basically what you did).

Lastly, I don't believe that I ever said that you were butthurt. If I did, then I apologize. But if you notice, you've been talking about this conspiracy since your favorite character lost, which is basically your only evidence along with a few other surprises over the course of this whole tournament.

I guess I'd just rather assume that people are angry over their favorite characters losing than thinking this site has some problems. Maybe I'm in denial, but I've been here long enough to know that it's probably not the latter.

I loved his old timeline story, but unlike everyone else, I can still see Subbie in his cyborg form doing the things he did in the past games. It's not like his destiny has been completely deleted just because he now suits cybernetics. He's still Sub-Zero. But oh well, some fans decide on one thing and then close up, refusing to think otherwise. If that makes them happy...

The two biggest names in MK, Scorpion and Sub-Zero, are palette swap characters.

Adding to that, Jade does have a developed personality. A bit condescending towards Baraka, and witty towards Sheeva in Jade's chapter. I almost think of Jade as a female version of Johnny Cage.

Oh wait, Jade is an original palette swap along with Mileena and Kitana as well, as they share their first appearance in MK2. But oh wait, I forgot, that doesn't matter because she isn't Scorpion, Subbie, Kitana or Mileena...

That's really immature. This 'tournament' isn't the end of the world. You can like who you like, but don't call it 'rigged' because Jade is winning. I'm not going to freak out if Shang Tsung ends up besting Ermac. It's not a big deal.

Anyways back on topic, to answer to some ppl yes i am a fan of mileena but i dont like all the female ninjas! I'd certainly not vote for kitana or jade if they were up against rain, sheeva, ermac, fujin, smoke, baraka, kabal, sindel, sub zero...how did we even come to this conclusion?

Watch out, if you have the audacity to tell people that this is for fun and that this isn't rigged, people will think that you're part of the great conspiracy to defraud the rest of the website users so that... I think one of the reasons I like Subbie turning cyborg is that it is a really huge step away from being one of the original palette swap ninjas. Now he is nothing like Scorpion anymore. He is still Sub-Zero in my eyes, but he no longer share the palette swap look with Scorpion, which is one huge plus in my opinion. Sure, he now shares the look of Sektor and Cyrax, but rather them than Scorpion. I believe that is one of the major factors in me liking Subbie's new cyborg form. It's definately not the ONLY reason, but it's one of them. ^^

I also liked Cyborg Subbie's gameplay better than his human form. I hope they will mix it together and make it more original though in the next game, because he really should have an all original movelist instead of getting those copy moves, like Cyrax's bombs and teleport move. The dive kick was awesome, so I would rather he kept that and Sonya getting rid of hers, replacing it with the vertical/downward bicycle kick instead.
