mileena vs sub-zero .
it is imposible for sub-zero to approach when she shoots.
for exampel when dash block she rolls you cannot slide underneath and when you jump she either teleport or still she shoot and you will hit anaway.

Well yes I agree on this.
Mileena hits sub-zero with her projectile when he tries to squesh to go under with his slide attack.
I dont know if this is a mistake or if this will be taking out after the demo, cause to me this is just unfair.
When she shoots enchanted however sub zero wil go under the first projectile but gets hit by the second one. This is fine how it is.
The problem is when he is down on the ground het cant use a wake up or anything . he will just get hit by projectiles over and over again.
When sub approaches with a jump and lands Mileena rolls. 30% combo.
when in the air she teleports and smacks him in the face .
Sub zero has like no options what so-ever. His only option is to trade projectiles.
CPU on expert is pretty good on this. Only no human can react that fast.
This matchup is 70-30 advantage Mileena.
However it will be a lot closer when he is able to slide underneath her projectile, Like 55-45 for Mileena or some.

Mileena is annoying because you can't slide under her sais, and if you drop an ice clone while she teleports you will *always* get hit, even if you clone in midair. Still, if you're halfway decent at the game you'll be able to deal more damage to her after you get kicked than she did to you, so it's more than an even trade. Plus, her roll is highly punishable if you block it; that attack leaves her open to a ton of damage and it can be blocked high. I really don't think Sub-Zero's at much of a disadvantage here. If this game delivers on the promise of each character playing completely uniquely then it stands to reason that you'd need to change your tactics correspondingly, right?

In case you didn't realize this, you can force the AI to start spamming projectiles by cloning and then use well-timed jumps or slides to deal fast damage. Clone --> duck the sais --> slide --> BAM! This works against any AI opponent in the demo, virtually every time. Once you're up close Sub-Zero has that advantage thingie you were complaining about. He's a beast with the mix-ups.
OMG are you kidding me? the easiest character to beat with sub zero is mileena. She ALWAYS falls for the clone both doing the roll or her teleport kick. if you block properly, she is extremely easy to beat. I hate when people make sub look weak when he is probably the best, people just dont have a clue how to use him. He is hard to master though

I think he was just a little to excited to play well. Don't get me wrong, he could probably beat me in a match but he could have done better in these matches lol

Her best bets all leave her extremely vulnerable to punshiment on block and he has no problem shaking her off. Even were she to go for the sai, SubZ can go for the freeze and unless his timing was really off, she's gonna suffer for it because being frozen leaves you in a lot worse potential shape than being hit for a little projectile damage.

it is not like that at all but i dont feel like explaining any more this forum tires me to much. it always comes down on the player but there are differance between char you cannot deny that. mileena has a lot of more options then zero so the advantage is milleena that does not mean sub can not win.
i win a lot against mileena with sub but i noticed the differance in options that gives mileena a advantage. the probleem is she want to stay at range she built her x ray meter in no time cause for shooting you get easy chi or somthing i dont know how to call it. so plz stop trolling and concluding that i am bad. this thread is not about me but the options are in advantage mileena and approching for sub is hard if she decide to play defensief

If you are aggressive with Sub-Zero then yes you are right. Mileena will have the advantage. But if you play defensive and lay down clones and crouch block alot (I say crouch so you can take your finger off the button to duck below sais quickly but still be blocking her tele-kick or ball roll), Mileena really can't do much. True she may build up meter by sai-spamming or do chip damage if she tele-kicks you BUT if she does tele-kick she will bounce off into the clone for higher damage then her chip from the kick and Clone+Blocking completely shuts down her roll/leap from reaching you. Her only prayer is sai spamming which you can easily duck under and if you are at medium range or less quickly Slide in between spams (unless the player is ULTRA quick at spamming them) or projectile trade to freeze her while hiding behind a clone. Your combo will do more than her sai I should hope.

Advantage.. sure... but I've still won on both sides of that coin against my brother regardless. It all comes down to who plays the smarter gameplan that fight. I tend to win vs my brother but he doesn't really spend time learning nasty combos and prefers to just take Sub-Zero and wear you down with less damage more often by catching you when you make mistakes. I learn combos so when I do hit him it hurts alot and that makes up for my over-eagerness getting me caught by ice clones ALOT.

An agressive Mileena in your face is like the worst thing to Sub-Zero, the only thing you can really do is get that combo breaker ready and keep your distance. You need to know how to dish out 30 and 40 percent combos on that snaggletoothed bitch. If you crouch block she can use her jump axe kick to hit you in the head and get you out of your block and even worse she can throw you if she's in your face. When someone gets too close to Sub-Zero he can't use his ice clone either. It's tough but I pulled off beating a very skilled Milleena. Play as Mileena first, learn her moves and then learn how to counter them. It's tough but it can be done.

The "if your that bad" wasnt directed at you, it was a general term.
And yes, I can deny that character differences imply victory. Why? Because I make it my objective to get really good with everybody. And with enough tactical approach, its possible.
If you just block and duck as Subzero, Mileena cant do anything except a pop-up Melee attack, and if so, you stand up. If she spams sai's, your ducking, if she rolls/tele-kicks or lunges, just stand up, 2 out of 3 cases you get a free combo with her IN THE AIR....
Did a little experiment for you, not the hardest combos to pull off, im kinda giving you decent in terms of performace so your not racking your head off the wall.
after a blocked roll:
2,1,2 freeze-dash in- 2,2,Eslide = 25% damage only 1 bar used
D+4 into freeze-1,3,F+4 16% NO bars used
(her back against wall) 1,2 Efreeze-2,2,4 Eslide 24% damage 2 bars used
after a blocked tele-kick:
2,1,2 freeze-dash in-2,2,4 slide 28% NO bars used
her back to wall - 2,1,2 freeze-dash once- 2,2,4,Xray 37%
2,2,4 slide 18% no bars
2,1,2 Eslide 25% 1 bar (really easy and good damage.)
most of them can be used in either situation, its the height with the freeze and where they lay in terms of a wall that will come into play. for the 2,2,4 you want them to be higher so the 4 will land.
yea, subby is a monster, even against Mileena. Remember to clone in mid-air aswell. you will be fine

if you freeze them with an iceball at the same time they throw sai, they get frozen still.. cant you just get some good combos in?
