I'm sorry but im just not feeling the idea of having a female cyborg ninja present. I think it makes the Cyborg men less valuable, and they are already 3 cyborgs in MK9 if smoke is becoming Cyborg aswell... I think if you make one female cyborg, NRS will probably make 2 and then 3 and then 4 and then you get the point... They go a little big too far sometimes and I don't want to have a roster of all cybrogs in MK10 if you know what I mean. If you don't get me, its ok im just not good at expressing myself through words, only bitchy faces

In future games, when/if Tekunin gets founded by Sektor, I would love to see a female cyborg. A new character, not a re-imagined former character, such as Cyber Kira or Cyber Sareena...

I've always disliked the cyborgs, because....well....they're cyborgs. Never seemed to have any personality traits and were never different enough for me.

The problem with having a female cyborg is....you know damn well they'd STILL try to make her sexy. Like her robotic parts would be built around exposed flesh like her breasts and thighs or something

Anyway I would personally bash Ed Boons head in if he just made another Kira or Sareena cyborg character.. Honestly im sure if there was a female cyborg it would be one of these two IMO.

We already have too many Cyborgs. The last thing we need is Cyrax clone with boobies.

One thing that's always worked in favor of the cyborgs is that there's so few of them. Because of that, Vogel was able to spread them out into different parts of the story. Adding another cyborg kinda cheapens them all.

Too many? We have three.

How many humans are there in MK? How many Edenians? How many MK ninjas are there? I'll tell you... ALOT MORE THAN THREE!!!

And Smoke has evolved into something more than a mere cyborg in the newer games, leaning more to an elemental now, so that leaves two.

Of course, this is not counting Jax and Kano, though they are cyborgs as well.

I've been preaching this for a long time. I don't think she should be in this game, but she should be in the next game. If I had to pick female from the series I would choose Frost, Li Mei, or Kira. I thought they all kind of sucked.

I would actually not mind this, but there's too much of a chance of them coming out looking like this.

I don't think it cheapens the cyborgs any more than female ninjas cheapened the male ninjas.

I'm not really a cyborg fan myself anyway, but I prefer using the females, so a female cyborg might actually appeal to me. IDK

I'm not saying I think this is very likely, or that I even think it's a good idea, it's really just an idea that crossed my mind one afternoon.

Seems like the crazy gimmicky kinda plot-twist Boon would be capable of... is all I thought. Just because, Sektor looks like a dude. We all assume he's a dude. But he is mostly robot armor and we've never seen under his hood... Soooo... big suprise twist: They make him a chick.

Pulling the old Samus Aran on us as it were.

Marvel comics did it with Ronin too, in New Avengers.

So then I started looking into all Sektor's old game stories to see if he was every explicity called a male, and long story short, yes he was. So I didn't post about it... because I figured people would just give me crap about it, and it wasn't very likely anyhow.

I still wouldn't put it past Boon to retcon him into being a girl though.

But I still don't think it's very likely.

Just thought I'd post about it anyway, since this thread gave me such a convieniant lead-in.

I somewhat agree and somewhat disagree. It's not hard to make a cyborg character that is unique from another cyborg character. Sektor, Cyrax and Smoke suffers from being palette swaps of eachother, but I think NRS is doing a good job in making them both look unique and play unique from one another without deriving too much from their original concepts.

You know.. That may actually be possible (highly unlikely but possible). Afterall, we have never seen Sektor unmasked or anything like that; for all we care Sektor could be a tomboy girl who dressed as a male Cyborg for the fun of it. ^^

We've already heard Sektor's filter-less human voice and there's no way that sound is coming out of a female's vocal chords.
