After playing story mode, what version of Sub-Zero do you find more badass??? Bi-Han, Kuai Liang or Cyber Sub?

Bi-Han. No offense to Kuai or his fans, but getting turned into a robot against your will, then crying about it is not that badass.

However, being turned into a wraith and embracing it is.

Bi Han.

They way he taunts Scorpion makes him awesome. Plus, he's amplified 10 fold when he was turned into a wraith.

Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.

I have a bountiful amount of respect and liking of Bi-Han. There is a darkside to him that I dislike, and I have a feeling he would have willingly gone with the cybernetic plan. Still, he is undeniably a bad ass who dove into the depths of the Netherrealm, and practically punched Satan in the face.

With that said, I like Kuai Liang better. Not only that, Kuai Liang is probably my second favorite character, right after Stryker.

I will not judge Kuai Liang entirely by this game (which even in this game, he's bad ass). But by past games standards, he's amazing.

He loses his brother, and chases down the horrible wraith of a murderer who killed him. In this battle, his eye is permanently scarred, but he survives. His closest friend and many of his allies are turned into cyborgs, and he is forced to combat them. His closest friend manages to break free from control, and fights along Kuai Liang.

Throughout this, he is tormented by Scorpion and constantly forced to face him. All in the while, Quan Chi stands in the background, laughing at the torment he's putting them both through, until Scorpion discovers the truth.

Kuai Liang, after going through all this, takes over the Lin Kuei and is confronted by Raiden to join the heroes. He agrees. In his fight as a hero, his new apprentice betrays him.

And before Armageddon takes place, he is forced to fight against his long dead brother and his cybernetic friend.

And after all that, he still fights to defend the realms. I can't do anything more than be a fan of Kuai Liang.

Bi-Han and Kuai Liang(Sub-Zero #1). Kicking Scorpion's ass twice(No offense to the Scorpion fans), the way he was taunting Scorpion and calling his clan inferior made me lol. Did Bi-Han become more powerful when he became a Wraith? Probably. In my honest opinion, Noob Saibot(Bi-Han) is one of my favorite villians in MK as well as my #2. Also, unlike other mindless lackies, Noob at least has an Ulterior Motive(Deception)

Kuai Liang was badass in Story Mode, but not so much when he was a Cyborg. Mainly because he got whacked off 10 mins later. But Kuai was a MAJOR badass in the Original Timeline that's for damn suregrin

I like both but Kuai is my #1. Cyber Sub ehh, =__= (I still use him on Occasion), and Bi-Han is a close first

I'd agree with this if the timeline wasn't changed.

With this new timeline, I agree with everyone else.

Bi han. I'm so sad there was no dialog betwen Raiden and him during the MK1 period in the storymode. The dialogue he had with Cyrax. in wich he told him what they were doing by killing earthrealm warriors, should've been with Bi han. I'm o most sure he was against the cyborg intiative, and we know that, if he had won the tournament, he would've left the Lin Kue, but still, i would've liked to see his reaction to that. He would've been a great anti-hero. I'm not upset about his death, alrhough i would love to see him again as Sub-zero, or at least as a good guy. He is and always will be my favourite charachter.

Bi-Han hands down.
There is something about the idea of a corrupted Sub-Zero that i've loved since i was a kid. In my mind Bi-Han WAS the real Sub-Zero & in the event that Kuai Liang was able to save his brother, i think the story line could have really gotten much more interesting for both characters...maybe even giving Noob Saibot a bit more of the spotlight and erase the non-stop "toss away" use of him.
Both Kuai Liang & Bi-Han are my favorite characters in all of MK, and i feel like Bi-Han is treated like the red-headed step child of all Mortal Kombat "ninja".
Speaking personally, Im hoping that in the next installment the purification angle of his story is explored (or at least started).

I would love if it was revealed that Bi Han was taking over the Netherealm in a bid to protect the realms from Shinnok and other evil entities.

To be honest, I've never even thought of Bi-Han as Sub-Zero. To me, the MK1 and Mythologies version of Sub-Zero is a footnote in the other Sub's backstory. And once they turned him into Noob Saibot, that solidified it even further in my mind. Bi-Han will always be Noob Saibot to me and the thing he was before he was Noob is, again, a footnote.

It's kinda like saying "Peter Parker was a nerd, and then he got bit by the spider." He'll always be Spider-Man, not the kid with the glasses.

Your first sentence sounds like a combination of Subzero's and Kratos' intro speech.

I guess I prefer Bi-Han for his cold-hearted strictly assassin attitude. I love how Kevin Tanch portraid him in the Scorpion episode coming off as a prick, in MK legacy. To me at least, it seems like Kuai Liang has a softer side to him, throughout the MK games, he's fought for earthrealm and tried to be along the forces of light in which IMO I don't think Bi-Han would have done.

Even as a wraith, Noob Saibot still carries over the attitude of when he was alive as Bi-Han and tries to overthrow the Netherrealm.

I do hope however that wether it be in the next game or any other game to follow, that Noob will confront Scorpion that he was not the one who murdered his family and clan, and that it was in fact Quan Chi all along who planned even Scorpion's murder by him.

Bi-Han: "I am evil."
as Noob Saibot: "Now I am more evil!"

And the above reason is why I have never really cared for Bi-Han. I like Noob due to his powers, but that's about it. Storyline wise, I've never thought much about this "Ultimate Anti-hero Super Assassin Power Ranger" who turns into a "Dark Evil Shadow Wraith Super Assassin Power Ranger" character which he basically is.

Kuai-Liang has alot more going on for him, even when cybernized. His storyline is one of the deepest in the whole MK world and it just continues to grow. And I find him being turned into a cyborg creates a grand paradox for his storyline which just makes him alot more interesting and a more powerful character. And he can still pursue the storyline path which he has in the old timeline, but now he's just a cyborg while doing so.

Gameplay wise, I find Cyber Subbie alot more enjoyable to play as, though I hope his moveset will turn out to become alot more original in the sequal. As mentioned by others, he didn't need to steal other characters' special moves, but I guess NRS became somewhat lazy with him which is a shame.

I don't really think there is a comparison here. In the original time line Bi-han was only Sub-Zero for one game (not counting mythologies) the rest of the time it was Kuai Liang. Kui Liang is Sub-Zero and had a far better story than his brother.

As for this game what makes people think Bi-Han was so badass? He lost every single fight he was in. Bi-Han kicked a lot of asses, after he became a cyborg he even took out Goro and Kintaro at the same time. If anyone is the badass it's Kuai Liang.

Bi-Han isn't really that Evil. He's more or less Neutral(not bad but not good either.) He defeated Shinnok and Quan Chi and retrieved the Amulet(fake) but I don't think he had a choice in the matter.confused But Noob is more Evil though

Bi-Han saw Sindel naked and instantly adopted a battle stance. Such are the actions of someone with a proper sense of priorities and a cool head.

This for me as well. Kuai Liang is the one who got the 6 games of story development, and the one I grew to like.

Kuai Liang always has been for me, sure I like the dark anti hero angle for Bi-han, but Kuai Liang has always had me with his story, unique look(eye-scar, slicked back hair etc.), his mentorship of Frost, overcoming the grief of losing Smoke to the Cybernization, being betrayed by his apprentice.

I will take either, but If I had to pick one, it would be Kuai Liang.

I don't dispute the fact that Kuai Liang is the well deserved Sub-Zero (mostly cause Noobs my boi) but there is a reason he was the Lin Kueis 1..2 guy. Even after killing scorpion he has no problem Taunting him and feeding the fire (pun definitely intended). Obviously karma hit him pretty quick after that...lol

Bi-Han takes the badass cake attitude wise either as sub-zero or noob.

I beleive Bi-Han is superior because come on when he turned into Noob Saibot he tipped the scales of Badassery If you've realized anyone rezurected by Quan Chi becomes more powerful. Bi-Han becomes a dark ninja who controls his own shadow thats straight up BADD ASSgrin
