This is kind of old news for me, but I didn't have the camera to get high resolution photos. I finally borrowed one, and I'm incredibly excited to show this stick mod.
My friend Will asked if I wanted to upgrade the artwork on my stick, and I answered "if it's practical and low-risk." He made a convincing case for doing, and since his stick was in the shop getting duel-modded, he figured he should do mine while he had the extra time.
Well, it's done. Using a special material printout of a MK desktop Wallpaper, I now have an unofficial Smoke arcade stick. The only real flaw is that some of the excess plastic wasn't trimmed off near the bottom when he put it on the plate, but for a first attempt, I think it looks fantastic. And anyway, it's nothing we can't fix later.
There have been two local tournaments here in Corpus, and I got first place in both. I'm so glad I can now represent my winning character in a whole new fashion. My friend did a hell of a job. Let me know what you guys think.

Very nice!
I plan on adding some custom artwork to my arcade stick when it comes in the mail as well.

I'm pretty jealous man. I wish I had an arcade stick to pimp out. Looks sweet.

About Me
Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.

That is fucking awesome!
I really don't use Arcade Sticks, but I'd love to make an Arcade Stick mod with Stryker, Cammy, and Morrigan. I'd considering using an Arcade Stick if I had one.

Looks great!
I've never played on an arcade stick, so I'm just curious what's your button layout? I see the markings for the Xbox buttons, but I'm a PS3 user, so I'm not sure which button is which.
Going from left to right and top to bottom, can you tell me the order for 1/2/3/4 and block/throw/stance/tag buttons?

Thanks, dude.
Once I saw the process first hand, I was amazed how easy changing stick art actually is. Although I love the current results, I can safely say this is just the beginning.

Thanks, bro. If you can find the funds, I can't recommend the TE stick enough. I have a history of poor purchases, especially regarding musical instruments (damn you, Washburn!). Despite the price tag, I really feel I got value out of every dollar spent with my stick.

That's reaaaalllly nice. That's the madcatz ssf4 se right? I have the same one but I'm switching back to pad since I can't seem to get the dashing down. Cool stuff though.

Thanks, man. Not an SE but close. It's the Madcatz MvC3 TE Stick.
I know what you mean about the dashing. Going from tapping on a D-Pad to using my wrist to dash is really strange. Truthfully, I don't think I'll ever be able to dash as FAST as I did on a pad, but I feel like I can do so more consistently with a stick.
Actually, doing anything the stick was a bit of journey. It took about 100 awkward matches before I could feel some sort of normality again. It's definitely a transition.

Thanks, man. With a little photoshop work, that Stryker/Morrigan/Cammy concept would be badass! My friend's modding his art with the Phoenix Wright cast in preparation for Ultimate Marvel, and the way he shopped all the characters into the picture turned out really tight.
Once I feel confident enough in my counter pick, I want to put some another character in the next art mod. Currently Sub-Zero, Sektor, and Nightwolf are competing for that spot.

Love it, so wonderfully done, it makes me want a Stryker/Jade one, just for show as I suck with arcade sticks, would love the blue and green.
Amazing work, majorly jealous of how gorgeous it looks.

Much thanks. Stryker/Jade would look hella nice. I especially think an art mod for those characters would be good because they need more representation. I've lost hope for Sindel, but I still Jade has a lot of potential. Still on the fence with Stryker, but I'm confident he wins a lot of match-ups.

Thanks, man. And the button layout goes as:
Button: 1 / Button: 2 / Button: throw / Button: Tag
Button: 3 / Button: 4 / Button: Block / Button: Stance (I think)
The two great things I love about this layout is that X-rays come out so smoothly (literally just slamming the bottom three buttons). Ex-Moves also feel a lot easier, IMO. I've been considering making a Smoke tutorial if I can get the direct feed equipment. I may elaborate on my stick techniques if that happens.
