Will we ever see King Jerrod?
We got a cool little cameo in Ermac's mk9 ending. Unfortunately we haven't actually gotten any indication if that was at least somewhat canon or not. It does seem possible that one of the souls in Ermac could be Jerrod. With Kitana's new role as Netherrealm queen, Jade, seemingly likely to return, Sindel's role uncertain, probably just a sidekick to Kitana and Liu Kang, I feel like MK11 is a good opportunity for Jerrod to pop up again in some capacity. With the previous rumors, I'm aware that they have been disproven, but if Taven, Daegon, Tanya, Rain, and Jade come back for mk11 it would be cool to see some more Edenia lore. Maybe Kitana uses her new power to bring back Jade and Jerrod and they all take over Edenia again as the new villains with Tanya, and Rain trying to overthrow the evil rulers. Just some random thoughts. I have said before on here, it would be cool for MK to do a prequel game about the Outworld/Edenia conflict with young Sindel and Jerrod and baby Kitana.

If Ermac Returns, it would be nice to have a King Jerrod skin for him. Also Personally I would have several different skins for Ermac and make it a plot point if Ermac becomes King Jerrod, he would unlock that Skin in Story Mode and selectable for the all of the game modes.

I don't see the point of it, honestly.
Jerrod is another generic dead Edenian with little to no celebrity more due the alternative media rather than what the video games did with him.
His return/resurrection/de-ermacization would serve nothing, if not fan service. And as of lately, there is TOO MUCH fan service in MK.

Well the best thing they can do is listen to their fans, the worst thing they can do is listen to their fans.
IT is not the question of how much fan service but the quality of the fan service.

Fair point, but relying on fan service, with such an hysterical fanbase as the one we're talking about, is negative more often than not.
Ed Boon and his team made all the best decisions (with few exceptions) on their own, and made the biggest mistakes when listening to the fans.

I am all for them for trying something new. I know many fans like Kuai Lang as Sub Zero. I do think he should keep the title of Sub Zero and sit out a game. Not Kill him off; so having him avaible if the fans want him back.
Also if they ever introduce Forest Fox from the MKX comic, having elements of Scorpion will be a must.
