I would say that is all he was other than being a like Jaqui as to Jax.

Kenshi is just another version of Ermac. He possesses a lot of similar telekinetic abilities other than them being blue rather than green and his only other difference is his sword and look. Jaqui is also a carbon copy of Jax toned down a bit.

These fighters might be better if they were given their own real individual move set but they are just another version of a current fighter. Kenshi could be in MK11 because Ermac is not so having someone with telekinetic abilities might be okay but I believe he is now dead hence finding him in the Krypt.
