This happens to be my least favourite sub-zero costume ever.
And I have a feeling i'm not the only one :P

I like the wrist wraps and his shoes.

The rest of the outfits is meh.
It would be significantly improved by giving him a higher collar and putting something on his head... whether it be more hair, a hood, a hat... anything. With those simple tweeks it would go from one of the worst outfits in the series, to just slightly below average.

Just one word: NO. His "Shredder" primary from Deception should return though.

What if, and hear me out, the Frost in MK 11 is actually this Sub Zero that identifies as a female...

It was my favourite Sub-costume of MKD. If it komes back, NRS should update it in a samurai-sort-of-way and I wil probably be fine with it.

That shredder costume was so dumb.. why wearing fur while you the master of cold / klunky armor / awful helmet..just dumb.

Sub-Zero's Deception outfits seems to have Mongolian and Hun inspiration.... which kinda makes some sense for a Chinese character to wear since Mongolia ruled a large portion of China at one point. And the Huns had a lot of interaction with China too - more-so than Japan, I think.

Making it more Japanese / Samurai inspired doesn't make sense to me. Samurai armour would make more sense for the Japanese characters like Scorpion, Raiden, and Fujin. Who seem to be wearing more European-style plate armour in MK11.

I hope they release more skins and gear post launch. They have 25+ years of lore to choose from for these characters. Still miss that Shredder look for Sub-Zero, that was my favorite look of his.
