Yeah I saw that but it's clearly a glitch. I don't wanna risk a ban or anything and will only do it if it's confirmed that is not a glitch but actual "secret". Will do Cetrion legit(grindy) way and all the others naturally.

Why would you get banned for a glitch? It's not something gamebreaking or giving you an advance with online matches.

I unlocked all 26 of those chests using the glitch last night, logged in this afternoon and i'm not banned or anything. Its probably patched out at this point, though.

Well don't use cetrions key item without the others or your game will glitch out and you will lose them forever until a patch fix.

I only see 10 heads im the warrior shrine. Cetrion, Sonya, Jax, baraka, sub, scorpion, Cassie, shao kahn, jade, cage, and dvorah. Where are the other ones?! Shangs tsungs throne room opened after 7 of the heads. Anybody know how to open the flaming chest in shang tsungs throne?

With this glitch, you don't need the heads. You should walk up to the spike/chest while still holding the X button (PS4) and it should trigger it. Or do you mean the legit way? That is through 50 fatality's on the same character.

What do you mean you only see 10 heads? You have 2 walls at the Warrior Shrine. On each side when you are coming form The Couryard.

If you enter Shang Tsungs throne, go up the stairs on the right. On the first floor, you pass through the door and there you'll find that light you can spear for the chest at the throne.

They might have patched it but normally just walk up to the chest until it says locked, then hit start and go to main menu then restart krypt. As soon as it starts, dont move, hold X right away and don’t let go and then just walk into any chest without stopping and you’ll get it every time. Key thing is not stopping at all

Since this is so popular(it's all I'm getting as recommended on YouTube lol),I did the glitch too. Whatever happens, happens.

I`m on the fence about this glitch..i would hate it if NRS banned my ass for this, but on the other hand this grind is insane..so if it`s not patched when i`m home from work i most likely will try this...

It would be stupid to ban people for this.
It's a glitch on their behalf, so the only ones guilty for this are themselves.

50 fatalities on a single character is insane, 25 would've been better.
They should realize that not every gamer is a teenager with too much time on their hands, and even then its too much of a grind.

But then again, whats the use for all these heads. Acces to a new area?
The chest are randomized, so I could be doing a thousand of fatalities for some concept art.

The grind is not worth it neither is the glitch tbh. Yes, you unlock the new area(Shang Tsung's throne room with 10 heads and then 2 rooms from there with 15 and 25 heads). There are 25 chests in all 3 rooms. Most of them are 25k except 2( 1 is Shao Kahn chest and the other is Scorpion chest). I don't think these are random because every chest contained stuff for 1 character - intro, victory and 3 pieces of gear. So no skins or brutalities.

True, and if you think "yeah, i did all the finisher and owned the heads" then you try the personal and the grind begin again :D MK11 has to much of it, which sucks.

I did the glitch when i got home from work and now 30 minutes later i have an all access pass to shangs crib :-) smooth!

It's totally worth it imo..I'm still gonna do everything else by the books though...

I did both glitches last night. It’s insane to think they’re gonna ban people for this. If you hacked the game(messed with the game’s code), than yeah, that violates TOS and they’d probably have some grounds. Exploiting a glitch to access cosmetic items does not fall under a violation. The worst thing that happens is they patch the glitches out and we all move on with our lives.

They could easily restore our game progress to earlier date if they wanted to.

Indeed, but considering the shit storm they’ve already weathered, I highly doubt it.

Remember, this is not the first time stuff like this has happened. There was an exploit in MKX that gave you all the mobile skin unlocks. They patched it out and moved on.

There is nothing more to it than what I put in the original post. Select the Krypt in the menu, hold the X button (ps4) down and keep holding it during loading and in the Krypt. Walk up to a chest/spike while still holding the button down and it will automatically trigger. Basicly you keep holding the button from the moment you select the Krypt and not letting go untill it triggers.

Not all chests are randomized. Especially the expensive ones and the ones with the Scorpion Fire and Shao Kahn Armor. And ofcourse the chests with all the heads. People are taking these random chests way out of proportion. I think they were rather clear in the last Kast and that even the random chests where random in location of the content, not the package of the content. Everybody gets exactly the same, just that the contents of the cheaper chests are in different chests for everybody.

I actually would like to know how this Krypt really works. I opened every single chest so far (except the ones that are hidden in the room where I need to solve the puzzle from Shinnok's amd Cetrion's and Kronika's something) except this one, I have opened every single chest in goro's lair amd shang tsung island and I literally have no idea where from I am supposed to get other krypt stuff cause I even rewinded at least 150 chest and noe the chests contain just art or consumables. Sometimes hearts...

I believe shrine and Kollector still have skins after you open all the chests.

There is a Shinnok Amulet glitch too. I'm not sure if you have to have Citrion's head and the other one in the puzzle already, I did. Walk down pull the lever to get the slot open for the amulet then walk back up the stairs past the soul at the bottom. Walk towards the edging where the puzzle is and press 3.
